Bistro 40 inside the Downtown Greensboro Marriott is truly a hidden gem! The customer service from the elite team—Yvonne, Tyler, and Todd—was nothing short of extraordinary. They were attentive, personable, and made the entire dining experience feel special!
The chefs, Daniel and “Country,” are second to none. Every dish was crafted with care and bursting with flavor. My absolute favorite was a temporary menu item—the Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo. It was rich, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delectable. I sincerely hope they bring it back permanently!
From the warm welcome to the last bite, Bistro 40 always exceeds my expectations on a weekly basis when we hang out, dine, and engaged in great exchanges and laughs! If you’re in downtown Greensboro, this is a must-try spot for both locals and visitors.

Ordered burger and it was not good. Bun still cold ( you can tell it was refrigerated), meat had zero taste. Actually all I tasted was lettuce because they put so much of it. For the price ($20 for 1 burger) I expected more
Main meals were between $40-$55, and I can only imagine what those taste like.

Food was mediocre and service was well they didn’t totally forget about us. Only reason we ate at this establishment is because of the convenience. Wouldn’t eat there again and pretty disappointed this is the service and quality Marriott allows.

Shaundra was the best server. We had a large group with kids and multiple checks and we had a lovely night. She was so flexible, attentive to details and just overall easy going. Food was good and we enjoyed the hotel restaurant without needing to go out into the bad weather. Perfect for a relaxing evening with friends.

We were staying at the Marriott and did not feel like walking or driving and, frankly, the reviews here were not stellar; but tiredness won out. I BEG TO DIFFER with ALL those reviews. We had a wonderful meal with great cocktails. Our server, Andrew, was gracious and made our meal a relaxing experience. Everything arrived in a timely manner and was perfectly cooked and seasoned.
