Great food and service here. I wish I had known about it sooner. I sat at the bar since I was by myself. The stools are very comfortable. The service was fantastic! I wish I could recall the name of the man behind the bar. I had shrimp cocktail as a starter (massive and delicious shrimp) and steak with fries. Everything was perfectly prepared. I’ll definitely be back.

We visited on Saturday for brunch. The building is large and decorated nicely. It is one of the most elegant restaurants around. They have plenty of seating options. You can sit at the bar, at a table, booth, or outside. They have the best ranch that I have ever tasted. The banana french toast was amazing and not too sweet. The grilled cheese burger was very good too, it wasn’t overly seasoned and had a nice texture. The fries were crispy and delicious. The staff was warm and inviting. I knocked off one star only because coffee refills took a little while. I can’t wait to come back and try more!

Absolutely hands down greatest meal in a long time. Opted for the special which was a filet wrapped in bacon topped with a crab cake topped with 2 lobster tails covered in bearnaise sauce sitting on truffle mashed potatoes. Filet was cooked to perfect medium rare and the lobster was very tender. The salad was excellent as well with candied walnuts and cranberries. The dressing was so good you could drink it. Wide selection of spirits including good bourbon choices. Also the bread and dipping oil is absolutely to die for!! They won’t give you the secret for the dipping oil so don’t bother asking. 🙂

We’ve eaten here when it was a different name / owner & didn’t realize it had changed. We were greeted and at a table promptly. Our server, Ava, was outstanding. Attentive, knowledgeable and just the right amount of friendliness.
The music was a little loud and distracting . The restaurant is decorated very nicely and looks elegant.
The bread and dipping sauce was delicious and I’m pretty sure it was inhaled before Ava even was away from our table!
Our rice balls as our appetizer were amazing. Though I was with 2 die hard carnivores , I noticed they ate them pretty quick. No such luck getting them to try the balsamic brussel sprouts with bacon . .Too bad for me I got them all to myself. We received our appetizers pretty quickly, then waited over 45 minutes for our entrees. My dad and I ordered steaks and my hubs ordered Cajun chicken pasta. I know my dad’s steak will always be tough since he orders medium well ( I know, I know. But there’s no changing his mind). Mine was medium. Both were a little tough, though flavored very well. Sides of broccoli and mashed potatoes & baked beans and mashed potatoes rounded out our meals. Delicious. .. though would have been much better if not cold. Cajun pasta was hot and good; needs way more seasoning. The Cajun was on vacation.
We will be back to try again. Hopefully we have a better meal. Thanks again to Ava for a magnificent job with our dinner.

We were on vacation in western PA when I found Bistro 303 online. We decided to try it and I’m so glad we did. Annabelle was our server. She was so personable and great with food and drink suggestions. We loved the fried guacamole, shrimp pasta, and shrimp filet tacos (no photo of that one).

My husband and I ate here yesterday for a date night. The atmosphere is nice, the new ownership brightened the place up and it has a more polished appearance than the restaurant was under its previous name. The wait staff were very attentive and interactive. And the drinks were absolutely top-notch – perfect! Our calamari appetizer was wonderful. However, I felt that for the price, our dinner just did not meet expectations. We ordered the bacon-wrapped filet special with lobster tails – we ordered our steaks medium-rare. The steaks were medium-well and the bacon was cooked enough for safety but still soft. It was as if the chef did not use high enough heat. We did mention this and our waitress was apologetic, it was “fine” so we didn’t press to have our food re-cooked. We ordered dessert to-go and it was very good – they had a variety of dessert wines and mixed drinks as well. We will likely return again but maybe not order steak next time. The friendly patrons at the table next to us ordered a seafood pasta and it looked exceptional. This is a high class place for drinks, dessert, appetizers, seafood and probably lunch/brunch.

This is the first time we have been here. We were going to go to Havana Nights and they were extremely busy so we came here, which was my second choice. We got a seat pretty quickly. It did take our sweet waitress time to get to us. Her name is Bella. It was not too awfully busy. She finally did and she got our drink and appetizer order. We did try to order the roast at the same time for both of us but was told right away they did not have it. So we asked for a menu and I ordered the grilled cheese burger which has bacon and my husband the turkey bacon melt and the waitress came back and said there was no bacon. So I said that was fine. Still no bacon though for the turkey bacon melt. They were going to make it without the bacon and I’m sure they would have charged full price, even though adding bacon to anything was a $2 up charge if it didn’t have it on there already. So we settled on that and so here comes our poor waitress telling me there was no hamburger. So I had to choose something else. The only other thing I could even want at that point since my first two choices were not available was a $22 New York steak with broccoli and mashed potatoes. I told her medium well and asked for the baked beans instead of the potatoes. She went back and put my steak order in. So my original $13 burger turned into a $22 steak. She then comes back out mortified because she once again has to tell my husband that there was no turkey. He then chose the Cajun pasta. His $14 dollar turkey melt turned into a $24 pasta dish.

I get my meal and I had 4 small broccoli florets. They were soggy and mushy but I ate them due to having no choice because my steak was burnt to a crisp and like leather. There was zero pink and it was like cutting sawdust. The chef, if that’s what you want to call them, tried to hide the burnt bottom by putting it down on the plate. The baked beans. Lol this is where it gets comical… they honestly looked like they opened a can of generic baked beans and poured them in a saucepan and warmed them up. They didn’t even look like Bushes baked beans. No seasoning, no onions or anything that would have given it flavor.

I asked my poor waitress to please take my meal from the bill. I didn’t eat the beans or the shoe leather. I did eat the broccoli and told her I can pay for that, which I did. $8 for four little soggy broccoli florets.

I see a lot of good reviews, but I have to say that is not the experience we had. I felt terrible for Bella because she had to be the one to face us. She mentioned that a truck didnt show, but honestly I am not sure if that is true. Either way, the waitresses should be told what you dont have so they are not humiliated the way she looked like she felt.

I went home with a little sliver of cheesecake.

Gotta go… gotta go find real dinner!

Edited to add: my cheesecake is raw at the bottom lol.

Our first time here was on Mother’s Day weekend…there were lots of large parties and we took that into consideration. The service was fantastic (Ava) and couldn’t have been any better. The wait for our food was crazy long, like 2 hrs! But when it finally arrived, the Oscar style filet was rare (ordered medium) and was missing the Béarnaise. The Crème Brûlée cheesecake was amazing! We will have to revisit and give them another try

My wife and I finally had the opportunity to check out this local spot. It definitely gave off the “fine dining” vibes so when I found out about the Valentine’s Day special I figured it was time to check it out! It was very busy upon arrival as expected on Valentines Day and took a few minutes to be seated which is to be expected. We were shown to our table and ordered the V-Day special along with some wine and took in the restaurant. It is beautifully decorated and a nice atmosphere for an evening out. Our waitress was very professional and didn’t miss a beat. We were extremely satisfied with the service. Our food came and here’s the honest review. Bread was great. Dipping oil was seasoned well and was delicious. The lobster bisque was the highlight of our night and was to die for! The lobster tail was perfectly cooked and with the melted butter it was delicious. The baked potato was good but not really anything to talk about. It was a little underwhelming. Our side of Alfredo Pasta was also really good. The steak. Seasoned perfectly. Cooked perfectly. It was tough. It was a New York strip and I understand that for the price point it was “worth it”. I would have happily paid extra for a fillet. Just kinda needed a fillet. It’s a special night out. I’m fine with a strip if it’s tender. It just wasn’t. Dessert was delicious and we had an overall great evening. Spent some time at the bar afterwards and enjoyed an Old Fashioned with some Rye whisky and capped off a great evening. We will definitely be returning!
