The mission of Bistro 163 is to increase food security and offer all neighbors and visitors a place to eat and come together as one community. We offer fresh food, prepared from scratch, using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Lunch is served from 11 to 2, Monday through Friday. Patrons are encouraged to pay more than the suggested menu price to help others enjoy a meal. If someone cannot pay for their meal, they may volunteer one hour in exchange for their meal.

This place is 10/10 out of ten!!!!!! The best food and service you’ll experience since 2017! They love the community and it shows. They make everyone who steps into that place feel like you’re part of the family. And Dan, the volunteer server should train these young kids what service looks like. Thank you so much. I cannot wait to go again. And taste everything on the menu.

We found this amazing place by searching for gluten free options for our family trip. We are so thankful we ran across it. Everything was top notch. Even our teens were highly impressed, indicating that the food, service, and atmosphere was very classy.
Two of us had the grilled cheese on GF bread. Easily the best grill cheese we have had. (And I make a mean grill cheese lol ) Restaurant grill cheese is often disappointing, but this one far exceeded our expectations.
We got the tomato bisque soup with the grill cheese. Again, absolutely incredible! It was thick, flavorful, and sprinkled with lovely tiny tomato bits.
This is the first place we have been able to order a GF grilled chicken sandwich and it was well worth the wait.
We live about 3 hours away and we are already making plans to be able to return. It’s a real treat to have access to amazing gluten free food.
Definitely check out Bistro 163. You are sure to fall in love with everything about it.

I’ve visited Bistro 163 several times. The volunteers are great. The food is prepared well. You may not leave “STUFFED.” but you should leave content with the volume of food. The soups & specials is what I’ve always had. Knowing they’re trying to help their community is awesome. Please keep it up!

Amazing place, great food, unbelievable price, and kind people. This restaurant is run by volunteers and they want to make sure everyone can afford a meal here. So the price is suggested but you pay what you can afford. And all the tips go to feed the next family who can’t afford it. The flavored ice coffees are super, so does the Arnold Palmer (half ice tea and half lemonade)!

I can say with a reasonable level of confidence that Bistro 163’s eggs Benedict was the best I’ve ever had in my entire life and I am a fanatic for it. I’ll add that I got the corn beef hash version, the corn beef was melt in your mouth good, the egg was perfectly runny, and the English muffin on the bottom was soft and easily cuttable with a fork unlike a hard English muffin that you can sometimes get.
