Bison Witches Just Ended My Will to Eat Anywhere Else, I’m Done
I don’t even know where to start—last night I hit Bison Witches starving like I’d never seen food before, and this place straight-up saved my life. Ordered the Wildcat (roast beef + turkey piled high, melted smoked gouda, lettuce, and that honey-spicy Russian mustard that hits like a flavor bomb) on marble rye, extra everything because moderation is for cowards.
The bread? Fresh, soft yet sturdy, holding up to the avalanche of meat and cheese without collapsing. First bite: meaty perfection exploding—tender roast beef, juicy turkey, gooey gouda pulling epic strings, that mustard kicking in with sweet heat that makes your eyes water in joy. I moaned so loud the bartender high-fived me. Paired it with jalapeño chips (crunchy fire) and a side of their cream of potato bacon soup in a bread bowl—thick, creamy, loaded with potato chunks and bacon bits, the bread bowl sopping up every drop like it was born for this. I blacked out in bliss, came to with crumbs everywhere and zero regrets.

Was looking for a place that was dog friendly and saw that Bison Witches was very dog friendly so I gave it a go.
Park in the back since the covered patio is where you’ll be seating with your fur baby.
Happy friendly service and delicious food. Recommend the half sandwich and half soup for first timers.

Tucson favorite for a reason! The nachos are seriously good, fresh, loaded, and perfect for sharing. Drinks are awesome, strong, and reasonably priced. The service is always friendly and welcoming, making it an easy spot to relax with friends. Great vibe, great food, and great people—I’ll definitely be back!

Our waitress was really great and we were seated quickly . While they had plenty of vegan options my veggie hummus sandwich lacked flavor & I had to add a ton of Russian mustard & other spices to make it interesting . My friend at the table also commented on lack of flavor . My avocado was barely visible , sliced thin and just didn’t match the giant bread slices . I went , tried it . Would I go outta my way to come back – no I wouldn’t .

Driving through Tucson and stopped here based on the reviews. It did not disappoint. There was a wait when we arrived. So we sat at the bar. Service was quick and attentive. Servings are big as others share. We had soup bread bowls which were soft, hot, and satisfying. We got half sandwiches and still more than we needed. Would highly recommend if looking for casual place with great sandwiches and good service.

Fire food. Great prices. Awesome service. We’re visiting out of town and we’d be back in a heartbeat. The nachos are fire and if you get the loaded one, the chili and extra cheese come on the side which is clutch to not make the chips super soggy. The French baguette and the potato soup were also a 10/10.

My daughter introduced me to this place and I am so glad she did. They have awesome soups and sandwiches. I had the best Reuben sandwich ever. Huge on marbled rye piled high with meat, kraut, cheese and dressing. I got two meals out of it and I’m a big eater.

These sandwiches are huge! And they’re kinda expensive but worth it. The staff is okay for the most part. They do the job. The back patio bar is where the cool people go. The bartenders out there are a little cooler, too. You have to order food with the outside bartender if you’re eating
