AMAZING food and service. The atmosphere was lackluster. Very dated in the seating area but I understand most of their business is to-go. They had a very large doorbell that went off anytime someone opened the front door. So with people going in and out for their to-go order , it was extremely irritating and I couldn’t wait to leave… BUT! The waiter was so friendly and offered to explain any dish we needed to know more about and gave us a warning anytime we chose something really spicy. Great selection on the menu between curries, noodles, soups and rice dishes. I ended up with the Shrimp Dopiaza which ranks in one of my top favorite 5 dishes I have ever had. The flavor was amazing and SPICY, served with long grain rice, curry and lots of huge shrimp! My husband got the Special Beef khichiri which was delicious, lots of bones in there though so be prepared if you aren’t expecting it. We also ordered 2 garlic naan because we were expecting a small idk, 6 in diameter disc? NO. You get 4 huge pieces per naan, practically the size of a full pizza. We should have split one but if you like garlic, this has about 2 cloves per slice. Its delicious! For dessert we ordered Gulan Jamun and Rasgulla. Oh my, it’s like spongy donuts in sugar syrup. So good! Will definitely get takeout again!

I visited this restaurant yesterday. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable, and the service was good but lazy. However, the food quality was a bit disappointing. A few items had an unusual smell, and the fish dishes had a noticeable raw spice odor.
On the positive side, the shrimp dish was actually quite good, and the overall experience wasn’t bad —but there’s definitely room for improvement.

This was my firat time trying Bangladeshi food, and I was quite happy with it. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying other dishes.

We got the mughlai paratha, a kind of flat bread stuffed with chicken, eggs, and chiles, topped with sliced cucumber, and it was absolutely delicious, especially with the sauce they brought over for it. We also got the Bismillah Special Mixed Vegetables, which was a delicious mix of stewed vegetables. We also had the aloo bhorta, described as a Bangladhesi comfort food, and it was fantastically comfortable, composed of a potato mash with chiles and spices all fried up. They were also served with rice, and the aloo bhorta and mixed veggies were great on it.

Portions were well-sized for what we ordered. For two people we ate everything and came out comfortably full.

The server was very kind and answered our all our questions, as well as bringing our food out in a quick manner. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant and seemed to be happy themselves, which is always nice to see.

The restaurant itself is clean and fairly spacious for the venue. It looks more like a small-town diner venue than a fancy location, but it fits it perfectly.

Overall, this restaurant was incredibly tasty and pleasant to visit. I’ll definitely be back, eapecially to try some more Bangladeshi cuisine.

Average restaurant. Average service and average food. I tried the morag polao, chicken chow mein, and mango lassi. The morag polao was alright, nothing special though. The mango lassi was almost too sweet, loaded with sugar and no real mangoes. The chow mein? Please take the Chinese food off your menu. That’s how bad it was. And the server took my mango lassi before I got to finish it.

We were craving for some good bangladeshi food and found this one. Went for dine-in, food was so delicious specially the eggplant bhaji (straight from the tree to the kitchen) had an unbelievable taste. The Chef/Owner whose hobby is to serve great food and great service for his customers. Felt like eating at home. Recommend this restaurant 100%

Tried Bangla Wok Delight and the food was amazing

Ordered the chicken fried rice, lollipop chicken, and beef sizzling — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The chicken fried rice had a great smoky wok taste and generous portion. Lollipop chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and full of spice. The beef sizzling was the star — tender beef with rich sauce served hot and delicious.

Portion size is very good and the taste feels authentic Bangladeshi with a nice Indo-Chinese fusion. Service was quick and packaging was clean.

If you’re looking for halal desi-Chinese food with real flavor, this place is definitely worth trying.

We tried Chinese food here including special fried rice, chilli chicken and sizzling beef. The food tasted good. However the portions of the food were not generous compared to the price. Food was served cold.
Special Fried rice was priced at $17 each and was told that it was for 2 persons, but actually sized for 1 person. So they misguided us. Fried rice contained little meat and shrimp. I would rather go to an Indian or Pakistani restaurant who is more professional about pricing and food.

I recently visited Bismillah Bangla Work in Buffalo and had a great experience. It’s a go-to place for the local Bangladeshi community, offering a variety of helpful services like document translation, immigration paperwork, passport/visa assistance, and more. The staff were friendly, respectful, and really understood the needs of the community.

They communicated clearly in both Bangla and English, and took time to explain everything. Their pricing was fair, and they handled my paperwork efficiently and professionally. I also appreciated how they created a welcoming environment—felt like I was back home in Dhaka!

Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable Bangla services in the Buffalo area.
