Ordered over the phone 20 minutes before I got there, asked about forms of payment and they hung up on me. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch sandwich and a catfish dinner plate. I get there and they tell me they cancelled the sandwich because they don’t have sub bread… I ORDERED OVER THE PHONE so this wasn’t discussed. They ended up putting a piece of chicken and bacon on a cold bun and sending it home with me. Ordered fries and they were old and cold. Fish was extremely fishy. No tartar sauce or any sauce. The girl was new, which was fine because at least she was friendly, but the others working there weren’t friendly or willing to train her. They rolled their eyes every time she asked a question. Just terrible service. Place wasn’t even packed.

I love the new location and that you guys now have somewhere to sit down and eat! I even invested in the cute salt and pepper soda bottles they have for sale!!
Thanks for being open on Sunday, as nothing in Henderson is open Sundays!

Update 2024- First I want to start by saying the people working are fabulous! Great customer service. Secondly, the food was good, but not great like it use to be. The tots tasted like old oil. But still the hamburgers are good. Lastly, the menu has changed and the prices are higher. The menu offers a kids chicken strip that only has one strip. Really that’s a snack for any child, not a meal. They don’t even offer a hamburger kids meal. They ring up everything individually and it was high! Very high. We were really disappointed with the overall experience tonight. But the young workers made the trip worth it!

I went to this place because my husband had told me about it when he went out to see our kids in college at Freed-Hardeman University. Lord and behold I ate a burger there and it was one of the best burgers I ever had. It reminds me of burgers that I used to eat when I was pregnant with my son. It brought back so many memories. It’s good it’s juicy. It’s it’s seasoned. It’s just a really good burger after all, the thing I say about this is that if you order one burger, you’re gonna want another one…. Update: May 11th I went back, and one of the staff noticed me and stated welcome back! That was so nice ! And guess what, they still didn’t disappoint, and this time as I stated in my previous comment. This time I got my burgers to go. I ordered two burger, made one a combo. I’m so blessed to have had the pleasure to taste a good down home burger! I wish they had one in Houston Texas or I could’ve put them in my pocket and brought them with me! They would definitely know me by my first name. It was honestly sad on my part cause I really didn’t want to leave them. But I had too! P.S I only took this one picture out of all the burgers I ate during my stay! Hope this encourages you to stop by and try their burgers if your in town, or just passing through!

I ordered over the phone and she seemed fine over the phone. When we got the food home, all our sandwiches were smashed flat. The only food item that was decent was the jalapeno poppers and the kids liked the nuggets. I hope it gets better because we used to enjoy chow wagon.

I’m all for supporting local. I ate here when first moved from little building. They were challenged at first but got the hang of it. Went tonight because didn’t want to go home and cook and chose because wanted to support local. I see they have remodeled and had many more items. My advice have posted a way to give feedback rather than Google stick with what you are good at don’t try more. Sometimes less is more. 50 minutes for a burger fries and chicken salad sandwich and fries is not acceptable at any volume. They were out of both tea and when a man asked for some he was told they couldn’t do anything about it right now. The trash was packed and baskets all over the top. I hope they get it together because with that experience I won’t go back for some time nor will I recommend until I do go back and find it worthy enough to recommend. The food was ok not anything I would wait almost a hour for again.

4 times now I’ve ordered a jumbo hamburger with just ketchup and mustard and a large fry and 4 times now it’s been wrong. 3 times they tried giving me a cheeseburger. One of those times they gave me a cheeseburger, I told them what was wrong, and then the next was with mayonnaise and pickles. I don’t understand what the issue is, but they can’t get an order correct. Mcdonald’s doesn’t mess up this much. Ridiculous. I’m all for supporting local but come on. I don’t have a 5th chance in me.
