Pulled pork was tender and flavorful, Jazzy BBQ sauce was WOW, homemade onion rings were tasty, sweet potato casserole was meh, and a little disappointed that the fried pickles ended up being fried spears :/ I’d def go back for the pulled pork with Jazzy sauce though!

Originally from Montana but moving from Florida. Best BBQ I’ve had in years. Meat was tender and mildly seasoned which left room for customizing with your own choice of sauce. Up north and Midwest I’ve seen too many bbq joints add large amounts of sugar to their meat for color and flavor. Bishop’s was well-balanced, simple, affordable, and timely. Both workers I met were sociable, polite, and wore smiles. Went back for seconds about 30min after leaving. Currently writing this review while eating “the best BBQ” in Salina, KS. Competitively, bishops wins by a mile.

Was pleasantly surprised with Bishops BBQ. Their brisket came highly recommended but we didn’t expect much when we walked in. Friendly and helpful staff with amazing food. Brisket was just the right kinda tender, and the gator tater chips were great. Will be back next time I’m in town.

I would give this little restaurant 10 Stars. The food was amazing. You have to try the sweet potato casserole. YUMMY! Eat in or take out, the choice is yours. The ladies were so very nice.

This place is always amazing! The food is fresh & hot, the service is exceptional & you just couldn’t eat at a friendlier restaurant. The smoked sausage sandwich was divine & the smoked chicken, yummy delicious! I will be back for more.
