Good solid food. You will have to add your own salt and pepper. I prefer that because some places over use salt and seasoning. The atmosphere service phenomenal.i had the country fried steak and it was good. My potatoes were a little on the thin side and the green beans tasted straight from the can. Now the chess pie, it was solid. Very rich and sweet. If you ever in Cool springs check this place out.

If you’re anywhere near Bishop’s Chicken, go. It’s so good.
They’re known for their carrot soufflé and now I understand why, I didn’t even know carrots could taste that good. It honestly tasted like there were sweet potatoes in it, it was that rich and yummy.
I got the tenders at the spice level just under the hottest — perfect heat, flavorful without being overwhelming. My husband ordered mild (he doesn’t do spicy) and even he thought it had a little kick .
We also loved the collards and coleslaw, and the outdoor seating is great. Such a solid spot — we’ll definitely be back!

I absolutely love this place. I always get the hot chicken, which is some of the best in the Nashville area. The sides are delicious, especially the carrot souffle. It’s like eating a dessert for a side.
They also offer country favorites like pot roast and chicken fried chicken.
To top it off amazing chess pie or banana pudding for dessert.

This legendary Meat & 3 is worthy of its reputation. Tucked away in a strip mall in Cool Springs it is easy to miss but worthy of a stop. And it’s still shocking that few know that this is the original home to the Hattie Bs chicken (don’t believe it? Look it up!)

I really wish that I had a Bishop’s Meat and Three closer to me as I would be there all the time. The food is delicious and filling. Fried chicken was crisp and juicy and all the sides were excellent, including the green beans, lima beans, mac and cheese and the carrot casserole. Chess pie and banana pudding were outstanding. Tasty sweet tea too.

Food was mid and lady said there was no hushpuppies with the catfish but literally says on their menu hush puppies and catfish. Also banana pudding was definitely banana BREAD pudding. Like everything was so close to being good but just off. Very mid at best, there are better places to go on the same street
