Let me start by saying that my server, Cynthia, was outstanding, friendly, and kind. She kept checking in and made me feel at home. That being said, the “margarita pizza” looked more like a cheese pizza with tomatoes on top. The Caesar salad was also drowning in dressing. I would recommend only getting drinks here.

We stayed at the hotel this past weekend and overall, our rooms were great — clean, comfortable, and the AC/heating worked perfectly. Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel restaurant, Bishop Grill, wasn’t nearly as good.
We went down for breakfast around 9:30 a.m. and it was clear they were understaffed. No one seated us for quite a while, so we ended up sitting at a table that still had dirty plates on it. Eventually, a very kind waiter came by, cleaned the table, and took our orders. He was upfront that the kitchen was backed up and food might take 20–25 minutes.
We ordered simple breakfast items, but our food didn’t come out for almost an hour — and when it did, it was cold. The avocado toast was tiny, and the bacon was so hard it was tough to bite into. For the price, the quality and wait time just weren’t worth it.
The waiter did his best, but the overall experience was disappointing. We won’t be eating there again.

Breakfast buffet was not good at all.
Eggs were wet and gross, hash browns actually smelled bad; fishy almost. Coffee & OJ were fine.
This would have been nothing to mention IF this was complementary as I thought, but this buffet was $25 – a preposterous sum for the food served. I would expect far better from Denny’s <$5.
The staff was warm and friendly – no complaints there.

Not sure why there aren’t any negative stars to rate on google. One of the most pathetic breakfast service I ever had. You have to search for someone in restaurant for at least 15-20 minutes, then go to front desk and ask if the restaurant is even open? Or Maybe it’s automated service? No clue !!
Rude unwelcoming server. All tables dirty with piles of used plates. Greasy food, soaked in oil / grease, stinking tomatoes in the omelette. The only good thing was the piece of avocado.

There’s a reason everyone names their favorite staff member…Princess Diana was the best! We are local and only came here because it was the only place open past 10pm in Danville. And it was so worth it. Full bar, they validate parking. The food was so surprisingly delicious. We had the short ribs and salmon and both were on point.

It’s all about the staff. Scott, Andy, Tan, Diana, EJ, and Ellen are all about making sure you’re taken care of. Add in one of the nicest bars/lounges in San Ramon, and really good food, and you’re going to have a great experience.
