I ordered takeout for me and my children. The atmosphere was so welcoming and comfortable that I wanted to stay there to eat. The food was absolutely satisfying! We had the fried chicken dinner with candied yams and mac, and fried catfish dinner with greens and candied yams. For dessert we had banana pudding and strawberry cheesecake! I will be back very soon because I love it! Go try it NOW and eat inside to get the full experience!

First of all, upon walking in, everyone is so welcoming. My mate wanted the oxtails, but they were out, so we had to make a second visit. We ordered during the 1st visit, which made us want to come back for a second visit. We ordered the catfish & smothered pork chops. The smothered pork chops were so good that I had to have them again. He got his oxtails also. The food is so satisfying and filling you feel like you’re in a food coma! We will be back.

Friendly and fast service. Everything I got was fantastic. The oxtails were amazing. Best cornbread I’ve had in awhile. All the sides were great. The peach/ pineapple tea drink was so good too. Will definitely be back!

Our group of 5 felt like we were guests at a fun, friendly, casual dinner party hosted by Bishop and Bae. The food was great, we all had fried chicken or catfish (amazing), collard greens (perfect), mac and cheese, candied yams, spaghetti and maybe other sides. Everyone loved their dinners. It was so good we all had desserts that came in cute takeaway Mason jars, banana pudding (OMG) and peach cobbler (how I like it, chunky and you can taste all the ingredients). Please show these people some love!

I’m in town and ordered delivery. Best thing I have had in recent memory. Wow. Baes four sides: mac & chz, greens (they gave me cabbage but that was a very happy mistake, now I don’t know if I’ll order the greens next time because the cabbage was so damn good), stuffing, and yams. Saved the yams for last for dessert and they didn’t disappoint. Just eat here.
Oh, got the Shug’s sweet tea and a lemonade. Again, wow. But…these will crack a sweet tooth! Amazing.

Love Bishop & Bae’s! The owners are incredible and friendly, the food is amazing, and it’s fresh and hot. I got the fried chicken with candied yams and mac’n cheese. It was enough to fill me up and have left overs, plus it travelled super well so I could eat it outside downtown and it was still hot. Nothing not to love.
