Mama Biscut and her son Chef Yonathan are wonderful. I showed up a bit early to the coffee shop next door and she overheard me
asking about the food next door. She opened up early to make me lunch.
The food is fresh and delicious. I got the 8 item veggie platter and each item is amazing!!! The beets, the lentils, the collard greens, yummy
I will be back! Get the veggie platter.
(I can’t comment on the atmosphere because they were closed but it was bright and well kept).

I mistakenly followed a listing for the previous restaurant in this space (Enebla) but am really happy we did because Biscut had some of the best Ethiopian food I’ve tried over the last couple of decades in DC and the staff were very friendly. We’ll be back!
