I have been coming here since I was a teenager working at World War Memorial Stadium (a nearby sports venue). We used to come every morning before work and get a sausage biscuit, then go work. Step forward about 40 years, and it is still one of the best breakfast spots in Greensboro. The staff are always friendly, the food is always fresh and as close to homemade as you will ever get in a “named” establishment (read that to be a nice way of saying they are a chain restaurant). They cook and fix the food right in front of you – literally, there is usually someone in the window right beside the cashiers station making fresh biscuits most of the day. As always, just about any store that has Cheerwine on tap is an automatic consisderation for a regular place to eat. I love the fried chicken biscuit, the steak biscuit, the sausage gravy biscuit, the platters…. let me save some time, I have not found anything on their menu that I do not like. I even like their hot honey chicken, and that is not typically one of my normal go to foods. If you are ever nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in, and order literally anything, it is all good.

So I went to this Biscuitville on East Bessemer Avenue and Canisia was very disrespectful. She was sweeping the nasty carpet and debris was flying everywhere, all over my food, all over my drink, and I even turned around to the guests and he looked at me and we were looking at each other in disbelief. I then called back today the lady pretended to be a manager once i told her the story she the. put the real on the phone manager, I believe her name was Tanisha, got on the phone and was very rude and disrespectful and told me that I should have called, I should have said something the same day. Not everyone is the same and I didn’t feel that I was in a correct headspace to confront the issue at the time. She then said she could not do anything or refund my money and why were we still on the phone about this and said that I was rude and that she’s glad that I did not say anything. she then just hung the phone up. This place is very unprofessional.

Service was decent but they got 2 ordered after mine ready for some reason. Very limited seating but my main two issues with all of these locations is parking and only one bathroom. At this one I’m Greensboro, their parking lot is tiny and with only one bathroom at a time, it makes needing to go very difficult.

Drive thru long, went inside there was a line. Noticed manager was checking food, I was impressed by this, he seemed to be very involved with what’s going on with his staff, etc. He was very approachable and i noticed he even recognized a customer and called them by their first name. Cashier was really friendly and had a nice conversation with her. I asked for fresh fries and I got them. It was a clean as well.

I arrived around 11:30am on a Sunday morning. It was busy. The line was on the street. I wanted to go inside but I still had to wait because the drive thru line was blocking the entrance and the parking spaces. They only have one drive thru, compared to other locations. After a few minutes, I was able to park and go inside. There was a TV in the lobby area and about 16 tables. There was a lady making biscuits. It was pretty cool that you can see them being made.
I ordered around 11:37pm inside at the register. The cashier was really friendly and I could see the other staff working hard. There was one person in front of me. I got the grilled chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit with fries and a strawberry tea. The total was about $9.92. My food was ready about a minute later. I forgot to ask for ketchup for my fries, so luckily I had some BBQ Sauce from Cookout in my car lmao. Wedges just don’t take that well plain, unless they are well seasoned. My biscuit was pretty tasty. It was the right temperature. The strawberry tea had actual strawberries in it, which was amazing. I love strawberries! Lol. The only downside is that it can block the straw opening while you’re trying to drink, lol.
So… I’ll admit that when I tried Biscuitville several years ago, I got one of the platters and it was NASTY! I never went back. I ended up receiving a gift card a few months ago and decided I’d try a biscuit instead.. Since then, I’ve been a fan!
They gotta do something about the parking lot though and the drive thru because the drive thru line shouldn’t block people who want to go inside.

We stopped in at this location because we had a great experience at another one across town. It was very busy due to the A&T homecoming game, but the service was great and the food was tasty, it’s no wonder why my Dad loved it so much!
