Housed in a converted trailer, this down-home joint serves classic BBQ & Cajun-style comfort food.

Came here for Memorial Day weekend lunch and we came early enough and was able to get a table right away. It’s a trailer so not a whole lot of tables and the place got really packed really fast. They do have outdoor sitting. The wait for table is not too bad.
Southern style food and it was definitely worth going here. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Will definitely be going back here again.

Fantastic food, great takeout family combo meals and the food is worth every penny.
My kids are Mac n cheese snobs now thanks to this place and their homemade desserts are out of this world.
Fried chicken is always juicy and crisp made to order and all of their meats are so perfectly tender. If it wasn’t for their hidden gem status they’d been busier than a bagel shop on Sunday morning.

Greeted by including the chef..
It’s a 45 to 60 minute drive that’s worth a return visit.. I took my Grandson there to celebrate his birthday.. Comfort Food at its best with great variations.. Their Banana Cream pie & Strawberry Shortcake were both unexpectedly awesome..

Great place for some really tasty comfort food. Didn’t know what to expect when we first pulled up but the staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive and the food was very good. I would definitely come back again. The day was beautiful and sunny so we chose to sit outside because it was a bit cramped inside but either would have been fine. I started off with the chicken and andouille gumbo which was hardy, just enough heat and had great flavor. For our entres, I ordered the bbq ribs with sweet potato and mixed veggies while my wife ordered the fried chicken with sweet potato and onion rings. We also ordered a side of mac and cheese because why not. Both entrees were enjoyable and very tasty. The mac and cheese was solid as well. The fried chicken, ribs, and mac and cheese I would definitely order again. However, I wasn’t too impressed with the sweet potato but was satisfied with our orders overall. For dessert we tried the peach cobbler and the pecan pie. The desserts were decadent and really rounded out the meal with more great flavors. Check em out!

It’s a trailer. Not a lot of room, so it’s usually packed. Go early.
The Brown Sugar Sweet Potato Mash is delicious, but it tasted like it was a sweet potato baked, scooped out, and placed in the dish. I ain’t mad at that. The chicken looked well done to me, but my husband said it was perfect. Ask that the juice from the Collard Greens be left out. It’s juicy enough AND very good.
Desert- Key Lime Pie and Turtle Pie. Both are delicious. Turtles. Pie is for chocolate lovers only. I would have loved a couple of crushed pecans on top. You know, like turtles. I did like it but I won’t order it again.
The Key Lime, on the other hand, my husbaand said was excellent. The waitress said that the whipped cream is made from scratch. I scooped a bit from my husband’s Pie. IT does taste like scratch. We will be coming back!!

I saw this place on Instagram or Tik Tok and had to visit .
The place was clean and very welcoming. Although they need to update their air-conditioning system.
The staff was friendly and knew about the food they were selling
I ordered a few things to taste because the menu liked so good I couldn’t decide
I think my favorite was the wings. Everything else was okay. The food needed a little more seasoning

Just really great food served by down to earth friendly people.
Don’t let the bad reviews get to you. The staff here is nothing but nice and a real nice example of southern hospitality.
I ordered the Dixie fried chicken and waffles, although the waffles were a bit softer then I like, the chicken was bomb! The chicken has such a nice crust on the outside without being greasy at all. I used my hands, how you’re supposed to eat fried chicken, and after they weren’t shiny.
My wife ordered the jambalaya, tasty and packed with chicken and sausage. Also the Mac n Cheese was out of this world. Creamiest and cheesiest mac I ever had.
Order the Mac n Cheese and fried chicken!!
Also don’t make the mistake we made, save a little bit of room for dessert.

Starting this off saying I lived in the south so I am picky with my southern food – but they did a great job! I loved the small business/locally owned vibe. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is my taste buds are used to being in New Orleans. Portions were good, Mac and cheese was super good, homemade tea was a nice touch. I would love more spice but I don’t think northern folks could handle it, haha. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, atmosphere felt like the diners I loved going to as a kid. Definitely worth heading to.

Great friendly service, clean establishment and quick service. Its a gem if you’re in the area, you have to dine in to get the full experience. But if you’re with a group of more than 4, come on a day when you don’t mind eating outside cause its tight in there-cozy. Because the sauces are made fresh for the biscuits and bread pudding, dine in. The blackened catfish was well seasoned and side of vegetables were fresh. Cheese grits were cheesy and just really good. Probably the best cheese grits I’ve eaten in a really long time. The shrimp Po boy sandwich was well prepared because the shrimps were seasoned well and fried hard so it didn’t fall out of the sandwich. On to desert-apple cobbler ala mode-yum. Prices were average considering its a pandemic and portions were decent. I will definitely be back.

My wife presented me with a video of this quaint establishment on social media, inspiring our decision to enjoy a romantic evening at this secluded yet charming restaurant. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by the attentive staff, who exhibited genuine warmth and hospitality. Our server was exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. The culinary creations were delectable, and the overall ambiance transported us to the heart of Louisiana. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment if you are seeking a Louisiana-inspired culinary experience.
