I’m only giving a 3 because the food was just OK while the service was great and fast even though it was 8:15 am & there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. Parked in front of the restaurant at 24 N. B.B. King Blvd. & was seated, had my order taken and food on the table in 10 mins. The Rum Boogie French toast, bacon and Breakfast potatoes w/ onions & peppers were 20.24. They add gratuity to all checks so with that 4.00 and tax I was out 26.21.
I believe if your going to spend almost 30 for a couple slices of bread, a few potato pieces & a few strips of bacon, it should be some of the best you have had. I was happy to see they did not charge me for the coffee as a first time guest, otherwise the check would have been 30 or above. I am wishing B&J continued success & pray they lower prices a hair to bring in a few more people & raise that review score. Just a closing note, the bathrooms are both men/women, and the door on the right had to be pushed hard to closed because it scrapes.

Would not recommend. Honestly the people are nice…. But the food? Nah. Its literally plain. They were out of most things so beware. My cheese was not melted on my eggs. Grits had a sour taste to them. This location is not the best but the one in Bartlett may be better. Waffle house tasted better than this.

I had breakfast at Biscuits & Jams this morning and it was fantastic! I ordered the shrimp and grits with poached eggs, and it was packed with flavor—rich, savory, and perfectly cooked. The service was just as good as the food. My waitress was so kind and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed, even though I didn’t catch her name. Between the delicious food and the friendly atmosphere, this was the perfect start to my day. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots in Memphis!

We walked into such great energy when entering this place. We had already eaten, but my friend wanted a mimosa for her birthday and this was the perfect spot. Anno, Kay, and Bri were phenomenal. They were so welcoming and friendly. They recommended a great hot tea for me and a birthday shot for my friend. AND, my friend got a tasty mimosa. It was a joy to be here. Loved the atmo”spirit” (new word unlocked…lol) of this place. 5 stars. Highly recommend.

We came here as a group of 30 people 1 hour before the kitchen closed. THE ENTIRE staff was so pleasant and friendly!! The service was amazing and the food was even better. I had the Down Home Blues biscuit because I love molasses and it was delicious!

Don’t waste your time. It used to be a very great restaurant. But now everything from cold food to old food you can expect. They’ve even added a gratuity of 10% on your ticket without your acknowledgment for two people. When did that start!? Typically the gratuity is not added unless it’s a party of six. I brought my friends here from Georgia to eat. Everything has changed the food lacked flavor. The food is old and cold, and we were told by their lead manager that they don’t want to waste food when I sent it back go eat something else. I’m leaving here $66 later and I’m still hungry. Have a great day! Omg!

This place is retro, bright and adorable. The vibes make you want to spend all morning hanging out. I went with 2 coworkers, they both ordered French toast and it was scrumptious! Cannot say enough about the rum sauce on the French toast. I order steak mediums well and eggs over easy. The description on the menu didn’t have a sauce listed but the place came out covered in steak sauce, the steak was black and blue, I couldn’t eat it. They were running so far behind I didn’t want to ask for it to be remade. They checked on our meal right away but I hadn’t cut into the steak yet. To add insult to injury the biscuit was mealy and tasted stale. The plum jam was amazing! And the potatoes had good flavor. Servers were friendly. I just left hungry…

Nice downtown location with view of street. Diner style and Food was good. Regular breakfast/brunch food. Enjoyed the mimosa flight. Staff were nice but on edge. We were refused plastic ware while inside the restaurant. Appetizers do not come out first.

I was thrilled to dine here, but the hype didn’t lived up to its expectations. Unfortunately, my food arrived at room temperature. While I’m usually not one to complain, I couldn’t bring myself to eat the sausage. I informed the server that it was inedible, and she offered me bacon. As you can see from the picture, the bacon was also old and cold. To top it off, when I asked to see my receipt, I discovered that I had been charged for the bacon. Disappointed and frustrated, I decided to leave without finishing my meal.

Chicago in the house. Our first time here at this place. Its attached to the Indigo Hotel next door. The service was great the food overall was good. However, we are willing to try a different place. Not enough to come back. The drinks were good as well.
