Well, please don’t get fooled just because you like the flavor that makes your tongues feel like it’s wanting more and more of what your tummy wants, that’s all just some umamic magic.

Cause I have ordered mushroom 999, the mushroom is very thin sliced and 80% is coated with some flour ig and in the picture I have shared is a before and after picture mushroom after I have eaten the mushroom how much of flour is left and how thin is the mushroom.

That’s about $10 ig and got almost got nothing from what I would I get from an actually 200 grams mushroom at store, Not worth it at all.

I would rather spend $10 on fresh mushrooms but we rely on restaurants cause they serve food for us, but where restaurants main goal isn’t providing good food then id say it’s filthy idea.

Honestly the food is great from here but recently i ordered biryani. I picked up my order and brought it home. It was so salty. Incredibly salty and i called them back. They argued and did not want to replace my item. I didn’t even ask for my money back. All i wanted was to get my biryani replaced. I had to explain to them about how i didn’t want my money back and all i was asking for was a replacement. I went back to the store they finally gave a replacement after a bit of back and forth but even then the biryani tasted completely bland. And it tasted super funky. I’m not sure what is the case. But this customer service was not good at all. Very disappointed. I do not recommend.

I recently ordered a few dishes from Biryani Twist, including the Triple Schezwan Rice and Paneer Makhni Biryani. Both were delicious, and the Triple Schezwan Rice especially stood out—it was one of the best I’ve had, very close to the authentic Mumbai Indo-Chinese flavor. The salt could have been a touch more, but otherwise, everything was spot-on. I’d recommend picking up from the restaurant, as there’s no Wi-Fi and parking can be tricky to find. They have a few tables for seating, but this is definitely a go-to spot for tasty Indian takeout. The prices are a bit high, likely due to post-COVID adjustments across Indian restaurants, but the portion sizes were generous.

I usually order spicy biryani/chicken from Biryani Twist and can handle spice well. But yesterday’s order was unbearably spicy—I couldn’t even eat 2 spoons.

There is no consistency in spice levels. Management needs to control this and confirm spice levels properly instead of adding spice randomly.

Earlier I would’ve given 4 stars, but after this experience it’s 2.5–3 stars.

Advice to customers: clearly confirm spice level before ordering.

My go-to place for Indian food was unfortunately closed tonight so I decided to try Biryani Twist and boy was it a twist. Considering I had never eaten here, I thought it would be smart to order the most basic of items, I mean how can you make Tikka Masala taste bad? Am I right? Well, turns out you can!

To start off, I ordered Samosas which were at least edible, then when I saw the mint chutney I actually thought they had mistakenly put ahi verde in my bag but then I realized this wasn’t Peruvian food so that couldn’t be the case. However, it definitely did not taste like ahi verde, or mint chutney, and was pretty liquidy, no mango chutney either so that was that. Next, was the Chicken 65, to make it simple I would say its equivalent could be described as eating spicy popcorn chicken that is oily but not crispy. In addition, I ordered plain naan as they did not have garlic naan, and I have no complaints about the naan, it was fluffy and fresh’ish.

Finally, for the main course, I must talk about the Tikka Masala. It is hard to describe in words my feelings while tasting this Tikka Masala, but what I can say is I was both emotionally and physically disturbed by it. As you can see by the pictures it had a good deal of oil, but even after much mixing and reheating, it still managed to be as liquid as the water I needed to drink afterwards. I had ordered medium spice, and it had some spice to it, but what it did not contain was flavor, heart, soul, or life. In the movie Ratatouille there is a scene where the food critique Ego takes a bite of his dish and is so moved by the flavor and taste of the dish that he has a sentimental flashback to his childhood and tasting his moms wonderful cooking. When I took a bite of this Tikka Masala I had a flashback to the time I fell off my bike as a child and broke my wrist and arm in 2 places. Fin.

The food was so good I literally felt the need to call the restaurant to tell them how good it was. As I told them, probably the best shrimp biryani I’ve ever had and seasoned to perfection! Will definitely be getting again!

Ordered mushroom biryani and okra entree.
Biryani was 6/10 and okra 2/10. Okra was very oily and felt like a tomato curry with lot of food color.
