While waiting for our food, we never felt even a hint of boredom. From the kitchen came a stream of soulful Malayalam songs—most of the lyrics I couldn’t understand, but the vibe was absolutely perfect. It felt like the music itself was part of the recipe.
After we finished eating, someone walked over and asked how the food was. The flavours were so spot-on that we didn’t need a second to think—only honest appreciation. And then came the best surprise: the person talking to us, and the voice behind those songs, was none other than the chef who cooked that incredible Kerala Fish Curry. His warmth, simplicity, and the way he spoke left such a lasting impression. None of us have ever had a chef personally check on us with so much genuine care.
The place is spotless, the atmosphere is calming, and the music adds a beautiful touch every single time. No wonder I’ve become a regular visitor now—once you experience food and hospitality like this, it’s impossible not to return.
The Goat and Chicken Biryanis are stated to be Hyderabadi Dum style, however it’s miles away from authentic Hyderabad biryani taste. It’s a strange Biryani that has soggy rice in a heavily spiced coating. I’ve eaten Biryani like this in Andhra or Tamil Nadu so if you like that kind of heavily spiced pungent biryani you can try this. But this is definitely not Hyderabadi Biryani – they are just appropriating the word and serving it in Hyd style with half an egg and mirchi ka salan and raitha. Actually the Salan and Raitha aren’t bad. But when you add them to the already heavily spiced rice, it becomes too salty and uneatable. True Hyderabadi Biryanis are flavorful but lightly spiced with fluffy rice. Their butter chicken used to be good, but now it’s become too sweet – I think their cook may have changed. The malai kabab is good and that’s the only dish I can recommend from here. Non-Veg curries like Mutton and chicken were made very spicy like I requested but unfortunately you can easily taste the burnt spices. I once ordered Palak Paneer and it was terrible. Naans were as usual, but the Chicken Tikka Naan was disappointing. Overall, it’s a mediocre joint that I cannot truly recommend. I like spicy food, but there’s a right and wrong way to cook spices. They don’t cook it right here and therefore the result doesn’t match the authentic tastes of the dishes except for the one I mentioned above.
They don’t honor their promotions unless you complain.
Buy 1 get 1 free ? Yeah, that won’t be fulfilled unless you fight for it
Butter chicken and naan were Excellent!
I ordered 1 Keema biryani, 2 chicken dum biryani which are very spicy and chicken is full of salt and not fresh & soggy. We could not eat the food and had to cook after tasting these biryani’s. Phoned restaurant about the issue and requested for refund but they offered to give food replacement at the closing hour 9:45 pm instead of refund.
It would be great if restaurant owner consider this request and do the needful.
