The chicken mandi at Biryani Palace was absolutely delicious! The rice was perfectly seasoned, fragrant, and cooked just right, while the chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Restaurant and was blown away by the quality. I stored my food in the fridge overnight and reheated it the next day—still absolutely amazing. The flavors stayed rich and aromatic, the rice stayed fluffy, and the meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. That really shows the care and authenticity in how the food is prepared.
One detail I really appreciated was the takeout packaging. The boxes are reusable, sturdy, and of the highest quality—not flimsy or wasteful like many places. It’s a nice touch that makes the experience feel more premium and thoughtful.
The portion sizes were generous, the spices balanced, and everything tasted just as good (if not better) when reheated. Honestly, if it’s this good after a night in the fridge, I can only imagine how incredible it is fresh from the kitchen.
Highly recommend Biryani Palace — Halal Restaurant for anyone who wants authentic, flavorful food made with real attention to detail. This is easily one of my new go-to spots.

It was our first visit to Victoria, and I can confidently say we had the best biryani here; honestly better than most places in Toronto! The dal soup was incredibly refreshing, and the chur chur parantha was delicious and perfectly done.
A special shoutout to Lucky Sethi, who served us with amazing hospitality. The customer service was warm, attentive, and made our experience even better.
Highly recommend this place, we’ll definitely be coming back!

Got lucky and won a $50 certificate to spend at Biryani Palace. We had Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Biryani (the chicken were so tender and the rice was full of flavor), Garlic Naan and Mango Lassie, all of that SUPERB!! would recommend to all of my friends ♥️

I visited this location for a birthday dinner and had an amazing time. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service from the staff was warm and friendly — it really made for a memorable evening. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy great food and good vibes.
However, I do feel it’s important to share something I’ve observed on multiple occasions, especially as someone who also works in the gig economy. The male owner of this restaurant has treated delivery drivers in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner — often speaking rudely or making unnecessary comments in his native language. It was disappointing to witness, and it raised concerns about how he might be treating his staff behind the scenes as well.
This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this kind of behavior — I noticed similar treatment at Cut the Crust by Mona (Burnside location), which he also owns. Judging people by their profession is not acceptable, whether in Canada or anywhere else.
To my fellow drivers and gig workers: please don’t stay silent if you’re being mistreated. Respect goes both ways, no matter what role we play in the service chain.

Biryani Palace in Victoria is the real deal if you’re looking for authentic Pakistani food. I tried the Goat Karahi along with fresh naan and a few other items, and everything was exceptional. The flavors were rich, well balanced, and tasted just like proper Pakistani home-style cooking.
What made the experience even better was meeting the owner at the cash register. She is a kind and polite lady of Pakistani origin who genuinely cares about her customers. She helped me choose the right dishes and even asked the cooks to prepare the food according to Pakistani standards, with the right level of spice the way we actually enjoy it. That level of care is rare.

Biryani Palace in Victoria is an excellent place for halal food. The food is absolutely delicious with rich, authentic flavors and great quality. I go there every second day and try a new dish each time, and everything I’ve tried so far has been very delicious. The staff are very friendly, polite, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Service is quick, and the restaurant is clean and well maintained. My family came from Vancouver, and a few of them are vegetarian they really enjoyed their vegetarian menu as well and loved the food. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty halal food.
