We visited Biryani House and honestly had an amazing experience. We tried the Mandi BBQ platter and the goat biryani — both were super flavorful and cooked perfectly. The biryani had that rich aroma and taste you expect, and the BBQ platter was tender and delicious.

A big shoutout to Salman, the owner — his hospitality and warm greetings made the visit even better. He really makes you feel welcome.

Definitely a spot I’d recommend!

We visited the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, expecting a full house, but to our surprise, it was almost empty. Check out the pictures.

Next, we decided to order some vegetarian food. To our dismay, they informed us that they didn’t have any type of vegetarian biryani not even paneer biryani which is listed in their menu. So, we opted for paneer tikka masala and naan. Since there were only two customers in the hotel, we anticipated a quick service. However, it took them over 20 minutes to serve our food.

When the food finally arrived, the quantity was significantly less than expected. The waiter didn’t even inform us that the portion would be smaller for two adults and a child. The naan was so thin that it resembled a pizza base. We were horrified by quality and quickly ate one piece, contemplating leaving.

Even bringing the bill (check) took another 5-7 minutes. As soon as he presented the bill, the prices had increased and were not what was listed on the menu. Check out the picture.

Initially, I was upset due to the long wait, poor quality, and insufficient quantity of food, not to mention the price discrepancy. When I confronted the serving staff, he claimed that the prices had changed and that he couldn’t do anything about it.

Frustrated, I asked him to call his manager, and I immediately took a picture of the menu. The naan was listed at 1.99, but they charged 8.37, which was clearly incorrect.

Later, when he spoke to the manager, he acknowledged the error and adjusted the price. However, the experience had already ruined my visit. I would strongly advise not visiting this restaurant, especially for vegetarians.

Visiting from Chicago and the outside looked not so great. But when we stepped in we were surprised by the ambiance. We were skeptical based on the reviews but wanted to dine in at an authentic halal place.

We tried Biryanis, Broast Fried Chicken, Mandi and the BBQ platter. All of those were top notch. This is coming from someone from Chicago, their fried chicken will give any Chicago business their run for the money.

The ambiance was very cozy. The owner later mentioned they’re trying to renovate before Ramadan and make the place more welcoming for the people.

The complimentary chai felt more refreshing than a paid one after this heavy meal.

Biryani House is an absolute flavor paradise! The mandi and biryani were insanely good—aromatic, rich, and bursting with spices in every single bite. The rice was perfectly fluffy, the meat was unbelievably tender and juicy, and the flavors were so deep they stayed with me long after the meal was over. Honestly, this is the kind of food that makes you stop talking and just enjoy the moment

On top of that, the owner Salman was incredibly humble and welcoming, making us feel like honored guests rather than customers. The staff was professional, attentive, and well-trained, adding to the overall top-notch experience.

If you love authentic, mouth-watering mandi and biryani, this place is a must-visit. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We ordered Chicken 65, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Goat Biryani. The Chicken 65 was definitely the highlight — flavorful and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was disappointing.
We requested a stew with no spice, but it was still very spicy. The staff kindly replaced it, but the new dish was also quite hot. The Goat Biryani had very few pieces of meat, which was disappointing given the price.
The restaurant itself looked poorly maintained, with dead bugs on the windows and an untidy restroom (including empty hand soap bottles). The only positive note was our waitress, who was polite and tried to help.
Overall, the food and cleanliness need serious improvement, though the service was courteous.
