Biryani Heaven truly lives up to its name! The quality of the Halal meat is excellent, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. My friends and I were traveling from Los Angeles to San Diego and were searching for good Indian food when we discovered this hidden gem.
We tried the Mutton Dum Biryani, and it was perfectly cooked—very tender, juicy, and full of authentic flavors. The Mutton Sukka was next level, packed with rich spices and cooked just right. We also ordered the Vijayawada Chicken Biryani (boneless), which was incredibly tasty and flavorful.
For appetizers, we had Chilli Paneer and Paneer 65—both were soft, aromatic, and absolutely delicious.
Overall, the food quality, taste, and authenticity were outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Indian food, especially biryani lovers!

Im a regular customer for biryani heaven, food over there is fine not great, as I don’t have many South Indian options in riverside I choose this. They have charged salan and raita a $1.99 each which is not even a decent quantity, while I was order pick up order restaurant did not inform me they would charge this additional price. Though I’m fine, charging the amount but at-least they could give the quantity more. This is not the first time, last time I had ordered Vijayawada chicken biryani spicy, they just simply put chilly paste and gave us. As we asked he told they were not getting spices from India due to tariffs and all. Now for the current issue owner was not at all concerned as we already paid the bill. They should improve the restaurant ambiance as well, it’s too low

The name is close to the truth, Heaven and Halal.. The Biryani was delicious and spicy, I like extra spicy. The chicken was tender and delicious. Plus they give you so much food, made two meals of it. Definitely going back for the lamb and beef biryani!

Stopped over for biryani
Tried chicken dum biryani, fresh tasty but little bit on the spicy side. I requested medium spice though.
I would come back again.

If you are seeking an authentic Hyderabadi-style biryani, I recommend visiting this establishment. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the food is both delectable and fresh. Notably, one biryani served two individuals.

Ordered the mutton Dum Biryani. The mild was still a little spicy fyi. Comes in a Togo container and a plate on the side. I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.

I visited with a little doubt after reading the reviews, but trust me—it was way better than expected.
The biryani was flavorful, with tender meat and perfectly spiced rice.
Also, the girl at the front desk was super cool and nice—— great on overall experience !

I tried their [Chicken Dum Biryani / Chicken Biryani / Mutton Biryani – insert your choice], and it was an explosion of flavor in every bite. The rice was fluffy, aromatic, and cooked to perfection, while the meat was juicy and marinated to the core. The raita and salan on the side added the perfect balance. Portions are generous, and the pricing is absolutely worth it for the quality.

Lovely quaint place near UCR.
The staff was friendly and willing to make the korma with chicken although it wasn’t on the menu. I was impressed that the gentleman asked what spice level and didn’t laugh when I said so mild you can give it to a baby.
I want to return for the dine-in experience before the behemoth apartment complex across the street opens and causes an overflow.
Btw it’s worth it to smell your food being prepared and hear the chopping of fresh veggies instead of the ding of a microwave.

This was our third time coming back here and the food has always been good. However, this time it was a take out order and we had placed our order 1 hour before. When it was time for pick up, they kept delaying it, and the time kept pushing to an hour and half. There were plenty of customers waiting as well. There was one other guy who had a take out order before me and he was still waiting for his order until he lost patience and just walked out the door. The person who was also taking people’s orders did not know how to communicate, I don’t know his name, but it’s also not his fault because poor guy was overwhelmed, this is the restaurants fault for not providing adequate staff. We know it can get busy and we also know that restaurants may be short staffed at times but it shouldn’t take 2 hrs to pick up an order that was already placed ahead of time. It is also common courtesy to also communicate with your customers clearly and especially to those who have already placed orders ahead of time, a slight delay is understandable, but this was just too unprofessional. They need to get it together, and hire more staff. This was so disappointing, and definitely not worth coming back.
