I visited Biriyani Delight recently. The food was okay overall, the taste was fine but nothing that really stood out. I didn’t have very high expectations, and it pretty much met that level.
The biryani was decent, reasonably spiced, but lacked that authentic richness you usually expect. The bun butter jam was just okay and honestly felt below average, with very minimal flavor.
Service was fine and the place was average in terms of ambiance. It’s an okay spot if you’re nearby and craving something simple, but not a place I’d go out of my way for. There’s definitely room for improvement in taste and quality.

I got a puff and a vegetable biriyani. The biryani was great but the egg puff was completely expired. It was so stale and unfortunately I had already taken a bite. It spoiled my stomach and gave me throat infection for 2 weeks. This is such basic carelessness. Did not expect this. Just look at the color of the egg.

Best biryani in Fremont area. We ordered Chicken fry piece biryani And chicken 65 biryani they both tasted awesome. Starters were very tasty too, ordered chicken pepper fry and gobi Manchurian. Price is very reasonable. Best option for takeout.

It’s inside the grocery store – don’t miss it! Spicy cauliflower and “Indian donuts” were full of flavor and tasty. As others have said, the biryani also definitely made this worth the stop – generous serving size and delicious!

Disappointed with my mixed Veg biryani (full tray) ordered for a party. There was an excess water at the bottom and uncooked rice at the top. Biryani has only gravy, veggies are very rare to find them. When I asked the vendor (Vijayawada Express) about it, they claimed it was their standard “Curry plus rice” method. I felt misled as this doesn’t align with traditional biryani expectations. A clear disclaimer, such as “Our biryanis are not dum-biryanis,” would have been appreciated.” My Party was ruined. 🙁

We ordered Haleem with high hopes for authentic Hyderabad taste but we were very disappointed. Mutton quantity was very small and it wasn’t minced properly and the gravy tasted like curry and was very very spicy. Two people couldn’t finish it even when we paired the gravy with 1 butter naan and 1 garlic naan we got from a different place.

I had a disappointing experience with them. I ordered mutton haleem, expecting authentic flavors, but it tasted more like mutton curry—completely off the mark and lacked the richness of traditional haleem. Additionally, I tried a few varieties of their biryanis, which were equally underwhelming in taste and quality. Overall, the food was far from satisfactory. I hope the restaurant works on improving its recipes and flavor profiles.
