Great weekday buffet – Tue to Fri, closed Mon. Different variety of dishes from other Indian buffets we have been at. Some dishes were spicier but not too hot. Indian tea included on the buffet – hot Thai iced tea.

I recently tried the lunch buffet at Biryani Corner and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The staff were both friendly and courteous, and the food was excellent. I’ve eaten at many Indian restaurants and buffets over the years, but the Dalcha Curry, Chicken Sukka and Andhra Chicken Curry dishes at this location were presented in a uniquely flavorful way. I absolutely love this place, have been coming here for years. We just don’t get Indian food this satisfying within Portland city limits- this place is worth the pilgrimage. Ordering fresh and the lunch buffet are both good experiences. Order mild if you are sensitive to spice- I like spice myself, but this is spicier than many Indian spots, depending on what you order. Generous portions, comforting food.

I visited this place with my friends for dinner. The place served a buffet with seven kinds of dosas – Paneer, Chicken, cheese, plain, masala, podi, ghee dosa and Guntur dosa. I loved the spices and flavours, just yum. Additionally, there was Kesar halwa, veg biryani, coffee, chutney and fried pakora. I loved the dosa night and planned to visit this place again. The dosa night happened on Thursday.
Ambience – Indian rustic restaurant, not themed particularly
Service – might be slow as they take orders on the table but plenty of things to try while you wait for your dosas

We were a group of four and ordered Veg Dum Biryani, Chicken Fry Biryani, Dum & Fry Piece Biryani, and Punugulu at Rayalaseema Biryani. The food was absolutely amazing, the flavors genuinely reminded me of South India. Every dish was perfectly cooked, especially the biryanis, which had that authentic aroma and taste. This place gave me a true taste of home, and I will never forget this experience. Highly recommended!

Solid $15 weekday lunch buffet with very tasty veg and non veg options. FYI: dosas at the buffet are only offered on the weekends! I regret filling up on all the food because their kheer is so good. The price is perfect for the variety and quality of dishes. They even serve chai in little paper cups… A really nice “authentic” touch. The dining area has high ceilings and lots of natural light! Highly recommended.

I visited this restaurant for the buffet, and the food quality was extremely disappointing and concerning. From the very first bite, it was obvious that both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes were stale and old.
The biryani tasted baasi, with rubbery chicken that had no flavor at all. The chicken curry was equally bad, completely flavorless and honestly nauseating. The appetizers were dry, tough, and clearly looked like food that had been sitting for days and reheated, not even properly.
What’s even more alarming is that we arrived at opening time, yet the food was already in this condition. After eating, I experienced severe stomach discomfort and constipation, which strongly suggests food quality and safety issues.
I understand that it may be a holiday period and staffing can be limited, but charging $22 for a buffet and serving old, stale food is unacceptable. If food safety standards cannot be maintained, it would be better to close for the day rather than risk customers’ health.
I will be reporting this experience to the health inspection department, especially regarding buffet practices. This was not just poor quality, it was a food safety concern.

We had dinner there tonight and had a wonderful experience. The menu was large, the prices reasonable, the personnel were all friendly and generous. The food was amazing! We’re looking forward to returning soon. More dishes we want to try. The portions were large enough for us to take some home for a snack or lunch tomorrow.
