If you want the most authentic Indian food in MD – this is it. The authenticity is seen in the flakiness of their Kerala Parotha and green chutney. Easily the best chicken dum biryani too ♥️ This place is not for ambience or service, so please don’t judge them for it. It is for the most authentic Indian food that will suffice your desi taste buds. Btw I saw their paper dosa on another table and cannot wait to try that too.

No fiss no frills , just straight up good food , tried the chicken dum biryani , coffee , Kerla parrota , cheese naan , goat sukkha and onion pakora. Everything was good , very good in terms of value for money . The quantity for all the dishes are really big with out any compromise on quality. Took a drive from Baltimore to here I would say very much worth it!. Could only take a couple of photos as was busy eating when rest of the food arrived!!

This was my first time dining in at Biryani City, and it was a great experience. I tried the chicken boneless biryani and also ordered a kushka on the side since biryani usually has more meat than rice.
The combination worked perfectly. We also had the chef’s mutton special, which was excellent.
The food was flavorful, the portions were good, and the whole experience of sitting down and eating there was really enjoyable.
Highly recommend checking this place out in person.

I’ve been getting food from this place for years now. They are my go-to place for dosas in Montgomery County. Great value for money and I am never disappointed; pretty consistent with the flavors. Their dosa is huge! We also love their vegetable kurma and other vegetable dishes. Their manchurian and gobhi65 are also a great hit. Be careful when you pick the spice levels because their Indian medium and spicy can be quite spicy. They have opened back up for indoor dining which is awesome as dosa is meant to be eaten hot and fresh off the tava.

I got takeout and tried the “white people” spice level at medium, which was basically mild. The sauces were good, with balanced, rich flavors. The cauliflower was divine, and the paneer was very good. The butter chicken was just okay—the sauce was lacking, and they used chicken breast instead of thighs, so it was dry. The Apolo shrimp was excellent, and the chickpeas were solid. Overall, a good meal, recommended.

We had catered food for our grandson’s first bithday party from Biyani City over the weekend. This was our first time getting food from Biryani City or hearing about its presence in North Bethesda. We are so happy we went with Biryani City, all items were simply delicious. My favorites, Kadia Goat, Vegetable Biryani, Chicken Biryani, and Masala Butter Chicken. All our guests enquired about the caterer and everyone praised the taste and spice level. Gummadi Garu (Owner) was available for all ourquestions and extremely helpful in sending us a helper, thankyou Gummadi Garu. We will be coming to you/Biryani City when we need food.

We’ve been looking for a reliable biryani spot and Biryani City is our favorite right now. The chicken boneless biryani is so tasty and we order it every time. Our other favorite is chicken malai kebab. And it’s alway nice to have Limca with our meal 🙂
