Haven’t been here in quite awhile and not sure why, this place serves up some great food in the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore. The pizza was very good and the meatballs worth trying. Even got a togo pie and traveled well and everyone thought the same. Sit at the bar if you can as its the center of the 1st floor. Plenty of parking and it will get crowded, for good reason.

First time at Birroteca and we enjoyed our meal.
We made a reservation for outside, and didn’t love the patio as it was a bit more rustic than we were expecting, and the mosquitos were out! Next time we’ll plan to sit indoors. Plenty of parking if you’re driving. Indoors looked warm and inviting, and was bustling.
We ordered some of their signature drinks, I got their Birroteca dirty martini and it had a deliciously spiced rim- skip if you can’t handle spice.
We also tried the mushroom pasta with homemade fettuccine- delicious, and the Duck Duck Goose pizza. Also delicious. My husband ate an entire order of garlic bread so I guess he must have enjoyed that!
This is a great date night or outing with friends spot.

Great spot for a meal in a lovely location with ample parking! Every dish we tried was delicious, except for the pasta with pesto, which was unfortunately a bit bitter and served cold. Despite that, I would definitely recommend this place for both lunch and dinner. Looking forward to coming back!

great valentine’s dinner here! warm and friendly interior with two levels and multiple rooms. relatively simple menu which i appreciate: mainly pizza/pasta. we got the mushroom bolognese, which we liked a lot, very good pasta. and the clam pizza, which had a lot of cheese, garlic, hefty portion of clams, and pancetta. it was quite rich and oily, but delicious. the best part was how unbelievably crunchy and non-floppy it was! for dessert we had the almond cake which was a bit sweet for my taste but was good and came with taharka ice cream. service was good. the only thing i didn’t like was my martini, which was basically like drinking olive brine. maybe some people like that but it was a bit much for me. will definitely be coming back here.

Cute place, kinda out of the way. They have a happy hour menu. Tried the Brussels sprouts, but didn’t get them the way they’re regularly prepared because there is pork in the topping. They were still OK. Appreciate the attentiveness of our server letting us know that there was pork in the preparation of them after hearing that someone didn’t eat pork.
Pizza was pretty good, DEFINITELY share size.
Can’t remember the name of the drinks, but they had Deep Eddy, juice, and another ingredient. We tried lemon, cranberry, and grapefruit and liked them all.
Lots of music and the bar area was HYPE, ESPECIALLY for it not to be a Friday night. Would definitely go back.

Very nice restaurant. A bit out of the way, but GPS takes you right there. We had a reservation, and we were seated immediately.
The place is clean and neat. I’m a fan of tablecloths, and Birroteca uses them. The food was fresh and delicious, and the portions were generous. Side dishes come in their own plates and are sized for sharing.
We arrived during happy hour which means that some drinks and some appetizers are reduced in price. My wife and her cousin shared a pizza, and there was still enough pizza left over to take home. I had the P. E. I. mussels in red sauce as my main course. It’s an appetizer, but there’s plenty of food in the bowl.
There’s free parking in their lot. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. I recommend this place. And I recommend that you get a reservation. The Biroteca gets plenty of customers.

Still going strong! When many places I have loved in Baltimore have closed, I am glad Birroteca is still here. Had a wonderful dinner Sunday with my parents. We love their bolognese, caesar salad with delicious bread crumbs, pizza. I think the garlic bread is new? It was so good! My server could have been a little more attentive he seemed busy and didn’t tell us the specials.
