Place is very run down, food was bland but edible. Steak tacos were smothered in cilantro and had a shredded beef roast look. Not what you expect “steak” to be. Very good, authentic Mexican food! The tacos use the small tortilla shells, but each soft taco has two tortillas so they are very filling. Overall, great quality food! The only thing I did not like is that they don’t give you an itemized receipt, so our waitress had included the tip for our table’s bill already and didn’t tell us until we asked.

Our favorite part of the meal were the horchatas. Their very good. Not super sweet either. The beans and rice were good too. The green salsa was good as well.
The tacos are overpriced. And their mini tortillas. Same with the quesadilla. 1 quesadillas about the same size at the taco was almost 8$. Then the meat plate were basically 5 mini build your own tacos for 17$ you had to pay extra for rice and beans and the container wasnt even half full.

Omg this place is awful. First off I order 3 steak tacos and 2 regular tacos. I got my bag came all the way home to see that they only gave me 2 so called steak but I paid for 3. So clearly they have bad communication skills within the company. The steak had no taste to it and it was burnt. I only stopped at this place because my regular spot was closed. But I would never go back to this place again. Food isn’t worth 5 tacos for $14 dollars. And my regular place Los Tacos is extremely better and way cheaper.

I ordered off door dash. This was the most authentic experience I have had across the country in years! I ordered the tacos and goat stew along with the avacado chips. It was all amazing! Amazing! The homemade tortilla and chips! Omg! It was all great! I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone! For people who say it is expensive well obviously you don’t know the rising costs of food across the country!!! Stop complaining! The cost was reasonable I have seen higher for worse food in other parts of the country like Texas! I have gotten the worst food there for more! So to find a little place in Chicago with excellent food and reasonable prices, I am excited:)
