I saw this place on Tik Tok for their quesabirria tacos and they were very delicious—very crunchy. I also ordered their tres leches cake and the al pastor crusted quesadilla. My family and I very much enjoyed the salsa they have and the food. I got take out and it was good food for driving out of town back home.

Restaurant is located off coors & east of fortuna in a little strip mall.
We ordered a rolled taco meal and a hand held carne asada burrito.
The tacos were ok, the plate came with beans and rice. The beans were cold and the cheese wasn’t melted. The rice was dry and appeared to be from the previous day with no flavor. Needless to say it wasn’t a good plate.
The burrito only had a couple of slices of onions & a single leaf of cilantro.
It was more than plain with no flavor.
The rolled tacos cost $15.99 & the burrito $11.99 which i consider to be extremely high for what you get.
They offer a small tray of chips and various salsas with your meal.
The restaurant was empty when we arrived as they opened.
The restaurant floors were dirty. There wasn’t anyone in the restaurant for atleast an hour while we ate and there wasn’t an attempt to sweep or mop.
No work ethic restaurant is way too small and relatively slow for the employees not to have it clean.
They play music too loud to accommodate the employees instead of the customers.
There’s too many restaurants in the area to not be competitive or affordable.
Wecks, Lotaburger, Subway and another Mexican restaurant all within walking distance of this location.
If the people cooking or working the register weren’t the owners. The poor owners are getting ripped off in man hours.
The cashier was on the phone the entire time and the cook dancing and on the phone.

Husband had a craving for menudo. Called to see if they serve it as it is Tuesday and the they just finished it up! Service was great and the restaurant was so clean and had a great salsa bar! The menudo was SO delicious! Will definitely be back again!

I hate giving negative reviews but I have to be honest. We try different locations and give different small businesses a try, each Tuesday. We don’t live far from this one so decided to give it a try. I got 2 carne asada tacos and 2 chicken tacos, my husband got the birria tacos. They presented and smelled really good. I only ate one of my carne asada tacos and it tasted odd. It didn’t taste like beef, but I still finished it. 20 minutes later I was extremely sick in the bathroom. I don’t know if the meat was bad or what was going on, but it wasn’t a good experience for me.

I used to love this place, but they’ve really gone downhill in quality. My breakfast burrito was loaded with french fries, and it was so greasy that the tortilla was see-through. Even the wrapper was saturated with grease. This is inedible.

I recently visited Birrieria y Tacos de Alex Tijuana Style and was blown away by the authentic flavors and cozy atmosphere. The birria was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, and the tacos were simply divine. The attention to detail and commitment to quality ingredients truly shine through in every dish.
