The food was amazing! The service is not the best. The waitress took our order and never returned, the one waitress that did come by multiple times was only trying to sell her chiles in vinagre. She was more focused on selling her chiles than taking care of customers. Our order arrived but they forgot the cilantro which we asked for on the side. We will defenitely come back as the food is amazing. But, please someone talk to tje waitresses. The experience can be much better.

I wish I could have taste it because I’ve heard great reviews but unfortunately I’m very disappointed in the packaging! The consomé was extremely hot that it ripped through the plastic cover and burned my leg. The young lady did a poor job in packaging that the brown bags ripped through all juices including tacos! I ordered ahead of time just to find out that my order was dismissed because she thought I was not coming to pick up, waited 20min for nothing! They were rushing order because it was close to closing

Food was pretty good, got the large bowl of birria. Good flavor and good amount of meat and consome. You can get extra consome for a small price which is good. Downside is not a lot of options for tacos (i get its for birria, but if you offer lengua and cabeza tacos offer something else not everyone likes those lol) and the meat had a good amount of fat (i dont pike too much fat), still good and a good price for everything, salsas are spicy but good. Would go back because it is good

WARNING: Staff are mainly Spanish speakers and so my SO had to be the translator while I nodded politely.
Amazing birrias and lengua tacos (if I had to choose between the two, the birrias was better). Dipped with an equally amazing consomé that were spiced with dry chili peppers, this was an amazing restaurant that I would love to come back to.
Service was immaculate and we were tended to quite often, the waitress was very nice and it was an overall grand ole time eating great Mexican food.
The atmosphere is quite cute, nothing unique but it has the charm of a mom-pop, local business that has been a part of the neighborhood for a long time.
Also dirt cheap compared to the ‘trendier’ taco joints around Chicago. Would definitely come again (with a Spanish speaker or after I take some more Duolingo classes).

The birria is so deliciously well seasoned and the consomme that comes with it is packed with flavor! I prefer eating this dish as a soup with onions, cilantro and juice from a lime while some eat it as a taco! Either way you can’t go wrong!

Be prepared for at least a 30-45min wait. Place is jam packed on the weekends and they are ‼️cash only‼️and parking is very few. Small birrea is $13 and comes with limes and tortillas (not made by hand) the tacos are $3.40 and very plentiful with their portions. The servers are very very busy and very short tempered … My side order or consume tasted like very strong clove spice definitely don’t recommend.

We got sat down pretty quickly but two parties arrived after us and their order was taken instantly. We got our order taken about 5-10 minutes after. The waitress took our order and we got our food. I feel like our food was waiting to be brought to our table because the birria was room temp and the tortillas on the tacos were room temp as well. The whole time we ate there the waitress NEVER CAME BACK. She didn’t even acknowledge us.

We drive all the way to Little Village from the suburbs just to have the tacos and birria. Taste is consistent and me and the wife have been coming here for years!
