Legitimately by FAR my FAVORITE place to get food in town, no contest, food is always amazing and the owners are even better. Birrieria Matador has worked with me several times when doordash fails to do so and I can never recommend them enough. Came into town for a soccer game, looked for best tacos in vernal. They were at an event clear out of town. Best birria tacos I’ve found in Utah, my daughter agrees. Glad I spent an extra 25 minutes round trip to grab them. Tip them well and they return the gesture.

We picked this place on a whim, and my friends were hesitant when we turned down some random side street. But I knew, all the best Mexican food comes from little food trucks in obscure locations. The food was excellent, the service was good and the staff polite. If I ever find myself up in Vernal again, I’ll definitely be dropping by.

The food was fantastic. Omg I’m so glad something like this made its way to Utah. All I’d ask is there is schedule for this place and if they could extend there hour beyond 6pm getting off shift at 6pm I would love to go this place again after work. Again highly recommend this place. The birria tacos were on point.

Ordered street tacos for delivery and they were amazingly fast and super kind when he showed up and grateful for the extra tip I handed him! Honestly best tacos I’ve ever had in Vernal. They made me a permanent returning customer. only ordered tacos but gonna order something different to try it all.

So I guess they’re open Tuesday through Saturday came here Monday the 22nd of April 2024 for my honeymoon and after some investigation we have to leave without getting some birria tacos hope they can advertise it more than just a single picture weeks ago.
