Fresh and authentic Mexican food that will fill you up and leave you with leftovers! I live nearby The Burger Boys and even though we were bummed when we lost Cuca’s, TBB came in and kept the local flavors coming. They eventually took over Cuca’s old building leaving the original spot available. Birrieria La Vacona enters the chat. BLV specializes in birria dishes with other Mexican staples and much like TBB, they DONT skimp in the portions. Make one thing clear if you visit this place. You will get FED. The food is always fresh and plentiful at these spots and after a friend mentioned trying BLV and being unimpressed, I had to find out for myself. All in all, the birria is good and the food we had was really tasty. The consomme was piping hot and very flavorful! We tried the biria burrito (the burritos are legit here) a BRC burrito, tacos de papa, quesadilla and the California fries. The birria is solid and has good flavor, the BRC burrito was MASSIVE and seriously was outstanding. This place has killer fries (like TBB ) and the quesadilla was one of the better ones I’ve had In this area. The tacos were solid and even the homemade chips were pretty impressive. The salsas weren’t my favorite as one was overly sour and the other seemed like it had every possible birria spice in existence in it making it a little strange. Overall the food is hearty, always fresh and tasty! If your looking for local spot to get your fill where you never have to worry about quality, BLV and TBB are both home runs in that aspect. Can’t wait to see how this place grows and I’ll be there for it!

So 9/10 would definitely recommend!!! They are so awesome. The biria is bomb. Watch out for that red sauce it’s . The green sauce is . The Flautas are perfect if you want something mild. Prices are decent. The owners are super cool and always polite. look forward to trying more on the menu.

Order the cheese pizza and add the birria meat. It came with a nice, crispy yet soft shell. The cheese melted well with the birria, held very nicely. It wasn’t greasy. Did not fall apart. Birria was nice, juicy and tender. Great flavor.
Green salsa, red salsa, sour creme, limes on the side if needed.
Pineapple drink was freshly made
the cucumber drink was even better, paired very well if the food

This place is a place to come eat with your family. Good food and plenty of it. I always have left overs. Their ramen birria is sooo good. Ive had their menudo too and papas dorados are delicious! Come try it, guaranteed to love it!

This is a must try place, and I highly recommend the birria Tacos and the potato tacos. So delicious the red salsa is fire very spicy. Green sauce is delicious a bit less spicy, but it still has a good burn . Will definitely go back and try more things on the menu. They have menudo on the weekends, just FYI.

Had the sope and it was huge. My friend had the birria Ramen and she said it was very good as well. Alot of flavor and waitress was nice and food came out fast and hit. Definitely recommended and will be returning.

My go to is a Ramen birria with a couple of quesabirria tacos and im set! Plain and simply great birria. The birria is flavorful the sauces they give you are tasty and its well portioned.

a joke! workers ignore you when you walk in even though the place is empty every time. can’t even cook potatoes they were hard and undercooked. ordered 2 tacos and only got 1. also beans are not the same as the photos they provide.

Complimentary chips and salsa are too good! The spicy level was the kind that keeps wanting you more even though it’s spicy. The birria fries were delicious. Definitely big portions so either come hungry or share a plate. They have music playing on the Tv for ambience.
