I wish I could give a half star… they have lowered the quality of their food ALOT and the prices have skyrocketed.
We ordered Cucumber water and it was spoiled. The salsa for chips was also spoiled. Gross. We got arrachera with bacon wrapped shrimp and the only thing good was the arrachera meat. We did get charged extra $4 because we did not want the chicken. The place was already $20+ with 2 small bacon wrapped shrimp. The rice was old, and hard to chew. I didn’t even try the beans, and the guacamole was already turned brown.
Very disappointed of this restaurant. Their quality is not the same.
Our waiter was very friendly. I did ask him to lower the music since we were the only ones in the restaurant.
Will not be coming back.

We showed up at 630p not knowing they closed at 7p. But they still served us happily. We ordered the taco platter and fajitas. The food when it came out smelled so amazing as the sizzle of the fajitas announced the meal’s arrival. Being so close to closing time they didn’t have any unsweet tea so I ordered the Jamica. It had the perfect amount of bitterness. Reminded me of vacationing in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Watching the bull fights. Throughout the meal the server and owner (I guess he was) checked on us a couple times to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything. This is my first visit and there will absolutely be plenty more visits in the future.

I am so happy we have a Birrierria Diaz on the Southside. They aren’t afraid to spice it up. We came for breakfast today, but since I found them here, we’ve been three times. The one in Bethany is always packed. I want to keep this one all to myself. Mendudo, pazole Verde and birria tacos on point.

Visiting from STL for the OKC basketball game. The food was amazing – everything we tried was delicious. Highly recommend the birria tacos! Super friendly service!

Run, don’t walk, to this incredible new restaurant on OKC’s Southside. I had the Pozole Verde with chicken and a quesobirria taco, dipped in the broth. Both were phenomenal. The taco was stuffed and delicious alone, but when dipped in the broth – that’s when you thank the big party planner in the sky you got tastebuds.

The pozole is very spicy but deliciously flavorful. I don’t like overly spicy food, but when you added the lime and cilantro, I could not stop eating it. The sour cream (crema) that was served with it helped to cool down the experience.

Lastly, but first served, was a small portion of refried beans. One bite and I knew I was going to come back. Those beans know Jesus.

It is a small storefront place, but don’t let that stop you. It’s clean, the people are nice, and the food will bring you back. Leave your bougie pants at home.

This was our 3rd time eating here, the first time we saw a cockroach running around. But we didn’t want to count it against them since they had just opened this new location. So we decided to give them another chance.

But this 3rd, AND LAST, time it was bad! The chicken milanesa my husband ordered was spoiled (you could smell it, it reeked). And I ordered a cucumber and lime water which tasted spoiled too. When I asked the waitress to switch it, she smirked and said “Yeah huh, I’ll get you the new one”…!! Like, excuse me you purposely gave a customer old agua fresca knowing it was bad and you had a new one! The mojarra was tasteless & all I could taste was oil. We will never be back here.

If you’re looking for amazing authentic Mexican food. You definitely found it. Ordered the “Taco Rancheros” everything of the plate was seasoned to perfection and so was everything else they brought out for the table! We will be returning and telling everyone about it.

Holly cow this place is amazing! If I could give them 10 stars I would!
Food was so good I ended up going back the same week, taking my bf for a late lunch.
I also got a flan that I was waiting to eat later but tried it and ended up scarfing down the whole thing!

We love to come in when we want some authentic dishes we literally cannot find anywhere else in the city, the pozole verde is my absolute favorite thing on the menu and never fails.
