I found out about this place to mexi papa which enticed me to go and he was there when I walked in. Got the molcajete and the 2 taco plate. Both items were amazing. The tortillas are made in house from yellow corn and are the size of a 10 inch pizza. The beans are super delicious and fully cooked in lard. This place was amazing! Customer service is top notch and the ladies were super friendly.
The only off putting part was that the prices were not on the menu and it wasn’t cheap to eat there. But I will be back because the food is delicious.

I ordered the menudo, but it was not good. It lacked flavor, should have been boiled a little longer perhaps. However our waitress took it back and refunded it. My husband ordered the chilaquiles plate with bacon which he did like. And my son tried the burger which he also liked. Music and service was good.

The food is fine, but the customer service is a problem. The waitress seemed to be nicer only when a man was at the table. They would check on other tables nearby but often ignored ours. I wouldn’t recommend this place if your group is all women or young people.

Chalio’s is one of the originals of the authentic birria restaurants. Love going there but my last visit I feel was pricey. Breakfast for two was $70 dollars, their menu has no prices on it and that I didn’t like.

The food was really good. I ordered the chilaquilles with carne asada. I’m giving it a 3 out of 5 because of the service. Maybe it was a hectic morning or not enough staff but our server took forever and when she finally did get to us she had an attitude. We were ready to order but she only wanted to take our drink order instead which took another 15 minutes to get to us. We could have saved easily 30 min if we ordered everything at once and received what we asked for. But when it was finally done it was good.

This was my second time here. Stop here because had to wait for my client. But I remember it was good last time. My girl n I shared a plate and even filled us up just right. Service was excellent home made tortillas made to order!!! Food was excellent!! Idk when will coming back only say that because it’s in L.A. four hours away from home. Thank you very much!!!
