I had the Birria plate it was very good salsa was spicy just how it has to be tortillas were made by hand witch is a plus the one thing that bothered me was that the guy with the weird mustache was staring at me made me a bit uncomfortable don’t know what that was about his wife was very nice but spoke to fast other than that the food was delicious.

Absolutely delicious! Birriería Cárdenas has hands down the best birria I’ve ever had — rich, flavorful, and perfectly tender. The handmade tortillas take everything to another level — fresh, soft, and just the right touch of home-cooked goodness. And the sweetest part of it all? I went on a Thursday afternoon around 1pm. I ordered the goat birria in the bowl. It comes with onions,cilantro,hot sauce, lemons, and homemade tortillas. The soup was extremely hot temperature wise. The meat was overcooked, and the pieces they gave were slim. The total cost was $17.70 plus tax and gratuity. The area is not the best place. Coming from a household that ate goat birria regularly, this place was okay. Definitely not going back.

Small place, good food. Extremely slow service. I dread the wait. Called it in for pick up, they said 20 minutes. Gave an extra 10 to get there and wait another 30 minutes. Just for a plate of menudo seemed excessive. Last 2 visits were a very long wait. Wish they could adopt a faster way to service.
