I’m from a major foodie town, so trust me when I say this birria is the real deal. Skip the fancy expectations and come hungry for authentic, flavor-packed perfection. The Barria broth alone deserves its own fan club. Add in a killer margarita and it’s game over. 100 out of 10. I’ll be dreaming about that birria until I’m back for more.

Amazing experience here! The quesabirria tacos were absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and packed with an abundant amount of meat in every bite. You can really tell they put care into the food. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The Birrira Quesadilla was phenomenal. The quesadilla was perfectly crispy all over. And so flavorful! They make their salsas in house. I’d recommend the one made with serrano peppers.
I sat at the bar. The service was spectacular! I met the owners along with some regulars and they were friendly and had great vibes.

Absolutely blown away with how great this place is. Everything about it… the food the service the vibe 10/10 for everything.
I got the quesabirria and it was the best I’ve had in the valley.
This is my new favorite spot!

Hole in wall place but the food is fantastic! Carne asada is most excellent. The flour tortilla is freshly made (from another vendor) and is chewy and tasty, so much better than the premade ones in many other restaurants. We were in Phoenix only for a few days and went there twice!

Most importantly, the quesabirrias were delicious and the consomme was very flavorful. We also loved that our server was friendly and helpful in suggesting their favorite menu items, food came out promptly, and the atmosphere of the place was great. We enjoyed the cheerful decor and practicing our rusty Spanish by watching a telenovela while we ate. Just there for a quick lunch, but they have a nice little bar, so we will have to come back for a cold beer or margarita and more great food.

Just found my new go-to taco spot whenever I’m in the Valley. This place is a true hidden gem. From the second you walk in, everyone greets you like family — “hi” when you walk in, “bye” when you leave — and the energy is just welcoming all around.
Now let’s talk about the food: they are NOT stingy with the meat. Every taco is fully loaded, and the flavor hits hard — so juicy, seasoned perfectly. You can tell they take pride in what they’re serving. No dry meats, no bland bites. Everything tastes fresh and full of life.
Whether you’re just passing through or a local, this spot is worth checking out. Don’t sleep on it — it’s that kind of place you want to keep to yourself but also can’t help but tell people about. Love this place!!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Birria’s Mexican Food, and I can confidently say it’s a new favorite! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was fantastic – vibrant, welcoming, and just what you’d want for a delicious Mexican meal.
The service was equally impressive, with friendly and attentive staff making sure everything was perfect. But let’s talk about the food! Every dish was incredibly hot and fresh, a true testament to their commitment to quality. And the portion sizes? Generous doesn’t even begin to cover it – you definitely get your money’s worth and then some!
I can’t stop thinking about their Quesabirria; it was absolutely divine. I’ll definitely be going back for more of that, and I’m excited to explore the rest of their menu. If you’re looking for authentic, fresh, and generously portioned Mexican food with a great atmosphere and service, Birria’s is the place to be!

If you’re looking for next-level tacos, this is the spot. Tucked into a corner of the city, this street taco stand is punching way above its weight with bold flavors and legit authenticity. The tacos? Absolutely bomb – juicy, flavorful, and loaded with the kind of seasoning that sticks with you in the best way. But the real star? The queso birria. Dunking those crispy, cheesy tacos into that rich, slow-cooked consommé felt like a rite of passage. Deep, savory, and soul-warming.
What makes this place even better is the vibe. The owner is a character – fun, personable, and clearly passionate. We were surrounded by good people, good music, and even better conversation. Everyone there felt like family – whether you were a regular or it was your first time.
10/10. Come hungry. Leave happy – and probably dreaming about that birria.
