Just happened to stop by here on a whim and overall they are pretty solid.
Just got their regular three count birria tacos, it was good with nothing that was outstanding but was fine. The consome however was better then average.
Pricing is relatively fair as well, would try again.

Best birria in San Jose! The Tacos Dorados Combo is amazing! It comes with 3 lamb quesabirria tacos that are garnished with onions, cilantro, & lime. They have two salsas, although I prefer the orange one that’s a bit spicier. The drinks are reasonably priced as well—a 12-oz Modelo just over $4, and the 32-oz is around $9 to $10. The restaurant is spotless—every table is wiped down between customers and the bathrooms are cleaned frequently.

As a person who was born and raised in the birth place of Birria (Zacatecas), and have tried multiple locations throughout San Jose, this restaurant has to be my favorite one!
The restaurant ownwership is from Zacatecas and they perfectly transferred the authentic taste of Birria to San Jose. The Birria taste here is 5 STAR! hands down! I know.. I’ve basically tried all the places I’ve found.
The customer service here I found to be excellent in all my visits so far, very friendly staff.
The only downside of this restaurant I see is that it doesn’t have the “look” of the quality of food it serves (5 Stars). The place looks “Plain” but has TV’s and music for enjoyment.
If you haven’t tried this place so far and enjoy Birria, come here.. you won’t regret it.

First time visiting. Went in Saturday morning 6/15 around 9:00 am, party of two.
FOOD
Got two orders of the Quesabirrias tacos (which come with a nicely portioned consomé), a Cafe de olla, and a beer. All of it was delicious, highly recommended, and would order again. The red salsa was tasty and spicy.
SERVICE
Greeted promptly and waited about 10 minutes for our food to be brought to our table. Overall, personable staff and the lady that brought our food informed us about the red salsa being spicy, which was nice of her.
AMBIANCE
Not busy at the time when we went in, clean, and adequately staffed.

I am hooked on their birria, and the whole fish cooked in tamarind sauce! The tamarind sauce is delightfully sour, and creates a fusion of flavors. The fish is crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside, and with the tanginess of the sauce it creates a sensational combination! We have been to the place five times now for this particular dish!

I ordered the Birria Taco Dorado combo. The birria consomme was a bit too runny, with an onion-y taste. Just a sip was enough – I can’t say that it was essential for the meal. The tacos was tasty, like it was toasted. The meat was so tender, but it was a bit bland, add the salsa if you like, but by the second taco I got to like the taste.

This is a neighborhood fast food restaurant. Since it is next to a gas station, I decided to try it.
The price is reasonable, the cashier is very friendly, the food takes about 10 minutes to wait, it is hot and delicious, and it is a great value ！
