Whilst visiting NYC, a local friend recommended this food truck to me and it did not disappoint.
We had the tacos and the consomé, and spent the whole time trying to avoid ruining our white t-shirts whilst simultaneously having the time of our lives in birria heaven.
10/10 would go again.

Was recommended to try here as it was close to our hotel and it did not disappoint! One of the best birria’s I’ve had – I had the tostada and mulita and both were incredible. Flavourful, generously filled and reasonably priced too. Definitely going in my list of recommended food spots in NY! Will be back 🙂

Great food!!! We came all the way from NJ to try this place out and didn’t disappoint us. Taco was great the flavors are on point. Wish they had al pastor tacos but I guess they are meant to be only birria tacos. Still very good food we started with two orders and ended up ordering more afterwards.

Birria-Landia is a street-food truck serving birria tacos, that are stewed-meat tacos. Birria-Landia is open in the evening. You can see the lighted sign from quite far away.
You place the order on a kiosk system. I ordered 4 tacos and consome, a meat based soup, where you can dip your tacos.
We didn’t have to wait too long, maybe 5 to 10 minutes.
We received our bag, and took a seat on a bench in the close-by park, where we felt safe. There we unwrapped our meal.
The tacos were neatly placed in an aluminum box, the soup in a paper-based container. We received salsa and pickled onions as well.
Each taco consisted of two small soft-shells, the birria meat, some salad, salsa and cilantro. The tacos are juicy, have a concentrated taste of the meat sauce, and you also taste the salsa and the cilantro. The soup has a meat-centric taste as well, but also contains onions and green onions. If you dip the taco in the sauce, it gets even juicier and acquires an even more complex taste.
We loved our tacos , and will co.e back the next time we are in New York!

i saw someone post online about birrialandia and i knew i had to try. me and my boyfriend have been on a hunt to find the best birria tacos and birrialandia makes it to the top of our list. we live on long island so it was a little bit of a trip but extremely worth it. the food was so delicious so much so we were back another 2 times during the same week. personally i love the mulita and my boyfriends favorite was the tostada. we thought everything was delicious though. the consomme was also so rich and flavorful. we will definitely be back soon it was well worth the drive

Easily the best birria I’ve ever had and probably my favorite taco in the city. So delicious! Love the pickled onions with it too. A great bite of food. I prefer the tostada’s over tacos for the crunch. Don’t forget the consome.
