Very friendly staff. Made our tacos with great care. Even gave us jalapeños for the tacos. They have a place where you can play disc frisbee, shoot dirts and play pool. Good place to bring your family for lunch.

I’m not sure if maybe I caught them on an “off day” but there was nothing good about my meal. I got the ribs and brisket with bbq beans and coleslaw. I sincerely wish I could find a single positive thing to say about any part of the meal but I cannot. The beans were flavorless and the peach cobbler was microwaved for about 5 minutes too long because it burned the h out of my mouth. Really bummed, threw most of it in the garbage.

Drove through here from Houston and looking for lunch and happened upon this gem. Bobby, the owner was super nice and visited with us for awhile. The sausage and brisket was the best we ever ate. Will definitely be back. We highly recommend this place.

One of the best BBQ places I’ve visited in awhile, there’s plenty of options to choose from and they’re delicious. I would recommend the classic brisket, you can never go wrong with that. The BBQ Master was cool and hung out with us.

This looks like to be a one man operation with the pit master/owner running the show. He was very personable and friendly. The place was clean and orderly. They even had a pool table. I don’t much about how BBQ is prepared, but I’ve consumed a lot of it. The beef brisket was moist and freshly made. It does have a heavy smoked flavor with bitter notes. The ribs were fall off the bone variety, but I prefer my ribs to pass the single bite test. The bite mark visible on the rib without tearing off additional meat. The sausage was ok. The sauce is house made and has a nice tangy sweetness with a good consistency. The beans get a 7 of 10…another couple of hours cook time and they would score higher based on the flavor. The house made potato salad was a fine offering as well.

We ordered a group lunch for eight people, two days in a row. Brisket was moist, tasty, and sliced well. Sausage was smoked in house and well done. Ribs were tasty and falling off the bone. Peach cobbler was exceptional. Order was easy to place and pickup was quick. Order was packaged very well. We’ll be back!

Everything I’ve ever eaten at Bird’s has been amazing. It’s is our go-to BBQ. Best brisket in the state! Beans are excellent. And the stuffed baked potato has a bit of everything. So good! Great service, friendly atmosphere, fabulous food. Come hungry!

Had a sliced brisket sandwich. I like, and asked for the moist end. The brisket had nice flavor and was tender. Little different taste than most Central Texas places, as owner said he uses pecan, but still really good smoke flavor. The beans were good too.
