OMG!!!
Just ordered tonight and the food was amazing: I got the salmon with Mac and cheese & fries (I think they ran out cause I got potatoe salad instead) and I wasn’t even mad about it because that was also amazing. Once I started eating I couldnt stop. The banana pudding was delicious as well! This is my new favorite spot!

The food here is absolutely amazing. The owner is also absolutely amazing and you can tell he loves what he does. If I could give more than a 5 star I would. I recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to kick back, relax and enjoy some great food!

Burdie’s Kitchen was delicious. We have tried most of the items on their menu and have been pleased ever time. Our favorites are the sweet heat wings, shrimp and grits and the well seasoned burgers.

We ate here last weekend, two days in a row because I wanted wings and they were sold out on Friday.
It was “Alfredo Friday”, so we ordered Jerk Chicken Alfredo and Salmon Alfredo with cornbread (that melts in your mouth!!) Both were delicious and the portions were huge, enough for a second meal for both of us!
Went back on Saturday for wings, & they were fantastic!! Large and meaty, cooked just right. Tried 3 different sauces Sweetheat, Honey BBQ and 24Karat, all were delicious!
The owner obviously loves what he does, he is an excellent cook and was really friendly even though he was very busy!
We will definitely be back! ❤

We went for the first time this weekend and everything was excellent! We had chicken and waffles, mac and cheese fresh out of the oven, yams and the best banana pudding my fiancee says he’s ever had. The owners were super friendly and it was a great experience overall. Absolutely a place everyone should be heading to!

Classic 60s diner. The place always looked empty when I drove by. In fact, I drove by for 3 years before I stopped in. My wife and I came by last night and had dinner and it was fantastic. Everything was homemade/made in house unlike most diners. The meatloaf, shrimp puffs, and cheese were my favorite. We will be back!
Update September 2017: Came back again and didn’t enjoy it nearly as much. Food wasn’t great this time and seemed like it wasn’t all made in-house. The cabbage and pickled beets were good, the scallops tasted fresh, but the sauce that covered the scallops seemed like it was purchased from outside (like Sysco) and was sickly sweet. My wife’s carrots were mushy and spongy. Not a great session. We’ll give it another chance. I should have gotten those shrimp puffs I previously loved so much.

Today I had the honor to try out Birdies Kitchen Wings in different flavors, they were all very savory and delicious but my favorite were the Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, and Sweet Heat. Birdies Wings were Crispy tasty and fresh! I also tried out the Natural Strawberry Mint and Peachy Mint Lemonades both very refreshing but our favorite was the strawberry mint. If you want to top it off with dessert I recommend trying out his famous pound cake! On another note the Owner is very genuine, uplifting and wholesome ❤️ I completely recommend it!

The food here is AMAZING!!!! My wife and I tried the chicken and waffles and have already figured out what we are going to get tomorrow when we return. The owner may be one of the best, if not the best southern homestyle cook around. Please give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.
