Birdies came highly recommended and I can understand why. The chicken strips are seasoned well service is good and the place is clean. I was told about the wings so when I went in , the first thing that struck me was the menu wasn’t clear as to what your paying for. For example I wanted chicken only so I was directed to the extra menu section of the board. It should clearly state how many pieces of strips you get. I got what I ordered but I also wanted the wings because that was the star of the show and I’m not a breast person. So I ordered and received one wing. I took it home and I was sorely disappointed and upset. These wings aren’t cheap. The wing wasn’t seasoned but heavily battered. Needless to say I’m NEVER GOING back. I work hard and can’t afford to waste a dime. The picture speaks for itself uncooked. I don’t like heavily battered food for this reason. The wing wasn’t fit for consumption hard and raw.

3.5 ⭐️.. first time here at Birdies ! the atmosphere was nice, host was pretty nice even though she was swamped with customers and the only one taking orders. I got the chicken and waffles. I wish the waffle was more of a regular pancaked based. it wasn’t warmed(needed to be warmed) at all . It was one of those Belgian waffle with the sugar pieces in it.. the chicken was good. I got HOT. i like spicy and the hot was HAAAWWTTT !! the chicken & waffle needs to come with the side of sliced bread like other orders but it doesn’t. The fries were the BEST part. whatever they sprinkle on the fries I ate them ALLL !! (as you can see from the pics) .. I also got the lemonade and that was ok, a bit sour and watery .. over all it was ALRIGHT … if your hungry then this is a good place.

SO GOOD. The only thing I would change is I wish I came here sooner. The food was absolutely delicious. The chicken is very well seasoned, as well as the fries. The chicken was also very crispy and juicy at the same time. What took it to the next level was the Birdie sauce, Not sure what is in it but it’s so good. The atmosphere inside is contemporary, but also very welcoming/home-y. The service was also nothing less than exceptional. Definitely recommend the wings/sliders.

Was in the area for a phone repair and noticed this place a few doors down, so I decided to pop in and give it a try since there is a serious lack of good chicken places in my area. I ended up trying the chicken fries and a slider and wow, I was blown away by how good they were! I was worried at first because the fries are crinkle cut and I have had some awful ones in the past, but they were well seasoned, perfectly crispy and the sauces on top were some of the tastiest I have ever tried! As for the slider, it had the perfect combo of a potato bun, delicious slaw, pickles and a slightly spicy chicken piece that was perfectly fried and spiced and well worth it! This place is so good I am actually considering getting more food there when I return to pick up the phone later! 11/10 would recommend!

Not great. I’ve been to places similar to this one before. Everything is very spicy. If you aren’t used to spicy foods, order mild. I got medium which is very hot, which I expected. I personally wouldn’t even try the hot, medium is a good kick. The chicken was ok. It’s fried, then tossed in a dry rub. The rub has a little sweetness to it, which I don’t like. The real problem is that there’s way too much of the dry rub. When you take a bite you get a big mouthful of powdered seasoning and it’s kinda gross. If they went easier on the seasoning it would be much better in my opinion. The fries were good. They are similar to burger King fries. I also got a side of Mac n cheese which wasn’t great either. They add spice to that as well, so it spicy, but not very flavorful.

Birdies Hot Chicken is amazing! I love everything on the menu, I usually get the hot or extra hot, depending on the day! Chicken is always so fresh and flavorful. Fries, mac & cheese and coleslaw are all phenomenal too! I legit crave it a few times a week. Customer service there is on point and Vivian is the nicest ever. 5 stars all around!

I got the #1 chicken medium heat it came with fries they were the best french fries i ever had. Crispy perfect didn’t taste frozen. The chicken was a large portion very tender and juicy that had a dry rub on it. I will definitely go back but the next time i will get a little less hot than mild. The place itself though was very unattractive and has a kind of street theme to it, very urban . Cold metal chairs not a homey comfortable place at all not like a restaurant. So i took mine out . Other than that 10 stars!

Hands down the best wings ever ! Double crispy, meaty and juicy , that crunch and flavor just hits every time ! And that amazing homemade sauce that comes with it – chefs kiss I have tried everything on the menu and all delicious but this wing order is sooooo big it fills me every time , leaving no room for anything else
