Highly recommend this new spot on Washington St in downtown Boston.
They serve halal chicken, which is a big plus. The fried chicken was really good ,,,the breast pieces are smaller than Dave’s Hot Chicken, but I actually preferred their spicy chicken.
They’ve got arcade games for kids, makes our lunch lots of fun!
I went for the combo with sliders, fries, chicken, and cheese. There’s a customer restroom, prices are reasonable, and overall it’s a solid halal option in the area… highly recommended
Parking is the only headache, but Pi Alley Garage at 275 Washington St has a $16 flat rate on weekends, which helps.

I usually can’t stand coleslaw or cabbage on food—it always tastes off. But Birdies changed the game. Their sandwiches? Absolutely juicy, flavorful, and perfectly crispy. It took me a whole year to finally try it (because let’s be honest, chicken sandwiches can often be greasy and disappointing)… but this one? A MUST-HAVE if you’re into tender, quality chicken.
Word of caution: if you like it hot, be honest with yourself about your spice tolerance. When Birdies says hot, they mean HOT—like “text your ex while sweating” hot .

Chicken was cooked brownish so could tell the oil was used, also tasted a little spicy when i asked for no spice, which isn’t a problem for me. Overall chicken was juicy, fries were a little cold but well seasoned. For a fast casual place not bad, but don’t expect the same level of quality vs a traditional restaurant

The chicken here is AMAZING! As a lifelong lover of spice, I am always happy when a place knows that while heat is important, so is FLAVOR! I got the extra hot chicken which had the perfect blend of kick, spice, and flavor. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the pickles popped, and the Birdie sauce was the extra I needed. Toss all that into a slice of bread and you won’t be sorry at all. It’s also local, which matters to me.
I told the person working there that this place was an oasis of flavor for me as I was in dire need of good food!
I ordered the food to go but couldn’t resist and ate half my food there.
The food is also reasonably priced and I know I will be back to try other levels of heat. Give it a go! You won’t regret it.

Went in for an easy lunch and Birdies certainly delivered. Ordered the tender and slider meal (one of each). Chicken was hot, juicy, not greasy. Spiced just how I ordered it, extra hot. Seasoned fries a plus for sure!

If I could give it 10 stars I would haha, this is just hands down the best hot chicken in boston! I love spice and they don’t play! But it’s not just spicy there’s more flavors to it very good food good and sides good service nailed the aesthetic of the place they even have like 3 retro game stations. This is simply my favorite place! Please please please don’t sleep on them, they are the best from their fries to their sauce to their seasonings

I got the medium tenders with fries and a drink. The chicken was juicy and tasty. I have an average spice tolerance and the medium was really hot to me so keep that in mind when ordering. I didn’t really like the sauce that much. It tastes similar to Chick-fil-A sauce and didn’t pair as well with the chicken compared to other hot chicken sauces I’ve had. The service was great. The restaurant was clean and quiet when I went(7pm). I really appreciated that they have complimentary wet wipes.
