Where to begin! Restaurant week was so amazing here. The service here is incredible! Not only did they accommodate us when we did not have reservations, they made space for us. Specifically this gentleman in a blue shirt, I was not able to catch his name, with a nice trimmed mustache. He was an incredible host and waiter. The amazing blonde bartender was so friendly and had incredible service skills. He also accommodated us with non alcoholic drinks. The food was Incredible. They had multiple options like a vegan, gluten, and dairy free for the menu items. The menu was incredible from start to finish. Instantly making this establishment a favorite. The desert just melted in our mouths and I was shocked at how fast I ended up at the last bite of it. Incredible staff from the front to the back. a total 5/5 from us.

Visited Birdie’s for the first time during Restaurant Week. The food came out cold and didn’t taste great. We ordered different dishes for all three courses and were disappointed for most (oysters were fine). The cocktails were the only highlight. Service was fine, and the restaurant itself was nice inside.

This has some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. The ambience is fun yet relaxing, the staff makes some great recommendations. The food is terrific. The oysters are fresh and the mussels are perfectly prepared. The lobster roll (Connecticut style) is delicious with the roll matching the buttery lobster. The birdies chips are fantastic, perfectly seasoned and crunchy. A great experience.

We had so much fun at their holiday themed pop up, Evergreen! The atmosphere was so fun and the menu was so creative. It’s so popular each year- it took us two years to get in!

Birdie’s Beware!!!!! Posted closing time is 10pm. We arrived at 9:35pm..just trying to fit this into our holiday pop up tour.. they refused to serve us even though we only wanted one round of drinks for just 4 people …. Can’t fathom last call being more than 20min prior to closing. We’ve made the rounds to all the pop ups and had high hopes for this one but unfortunately they wanted to cut off service 30min prior to their advertised closing time. I’d recommend you try elsewhere to ensure you get service. Too many good pop ups around town now to risk being denied service here.

Came here during the holiday time where they had Christmas themed drinks and food. This was more of a brunch for me and everything was delicious especially their parfait! Their yogurt definitely had a unique taste to it and the environment and ambience was very nice. Their decorations were really pretty too.

Visited for the Evergreen holiday pop up! It’s super cute inside with Christmas decor everywhere! I went with a friend and we each got a smaller plate item (I got oysters) and 2 drinks! First I tried the reindeer games since it was freezing outside and it’s a warm drink kind of like a boozy apple cider. It was delicious and served in a cute Christmas tree mug. The oysters were also very good! The second drink I tried was the broken bulb. I’m not sure how I felt about this one, the flavors are different. It was like a spritz that tasted like a Christmas tree. The presentation was beautiful. Our waitress was very friendly and kept us happy! Great experience over all.

The food is very mediocre and I strongly suspect that they’re boosting the flavor (or trying to) with MSG. Also factoring in a 20% gratuity for a party of three seems a bit presumptuous…especially with mediocre food (it’s like they know it’s not good). Also the large empty can of shucked oysters at the end of the bar gives me cause to question what’s actually being served in the half shell…if you think about going here…think again.

I used to love Birdies, especially the seafood tower, crab dip, and their holiday drinks. I was genuinely obsessed a couple of years ago, so I was excited to come back.

The aesthetic today was still great, but the food was very much lacking. We were really disappointed to learn they no longer offer the seafood tower, but we let that go and ordered the crab dip instead. What came out looked like it had been blended in a Ninja blender thin, runny, almost like a soup. And it was served with Ritz crackers. We were floored.

After tasting it, we decided to cancel our oyster order (which thankfully hadn’t been made yet) and left. Honestly, I’m so glad we didn’t spend more.

I really hope they return to the quality they used to have, because right now it’s not the Birdies I remember.
