Welcome to the location that started it all, in the heart of historic Five Points. Birdcall was born and raised on the Front Range, we’re serving up 100% all-natural chicken, seven days a week. Enjoy a variety of made-to-order sandwiches, chef-inspired salads, crispy tenders, happy-hour specials, crave-worthy sides, and more! This family-friendly location includes a spacious dog-friendly patio.

While in Denver to catch a couple baseball games, we stopped by Birdcall for a pregame dinner. The dining area is somewhat small, but is clean with both table and counter seating. Outdoor seating is also available. Ordering is done by a kiosk, which I’m not a big fan of, but it went well and within five minutes we were picking up delicious fried chicken sandwiches with fries and tater tots. The sandwich was spiced perfectly and was juicy and tender. Of the two, I recommend the tater tots over the fries. My iced tea was brisk and refreshing, and I appreciated the beverage bar for free refills. This place is not fancy, but the chicken is excellent!

Average chicken sandwich. The harder part is the value. It’s $11 for “the headliner”. The picture is definitely bigger than what came out of the window. A chick fil a sandwich is half the price. Bird call is not twice as good. The tots are solid though. $18 for a sandwich, tots, and a small drink.

This is one of my favorite birdcall locations because it’s close by to me! One of the reasons that I love birdcall is because it’s a fast food place that chooses quality instead of being cheap and making everything out of chemicals they use real ingredients and real chicken and the birdcall sauce goes great with the strips and fries! I’m honestly so surprised that at least one big company actually cares about quality over quantity! Nice job bird call!

Hospitality is not dead! Jack saw me looking at the menu and stepped right in to help. Even though there is an ordering kiosk, he made my experience personable and without frustration. Thanks Jack, I’ll be back! Birdcall, you’ve got a real one!

Solid spot for fried chicken! The Nashville and Southern Sandwiches were our favorites. Be ware of the extra hot tenders, they are VERY HOT. too spicy for me.
Thanks Stephanie for your warm hospitality!! I’ll definitely return to try something else.

I can’t say enough good things about Birdcall! From the moment we walked in, the experience was top-notch. I ordered the Dirty Bird from their secret menu, and it was hands down one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had—crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The sauce had just the right amount of heat, complementing the perfectly cooked chicken. Paired with a side of crispy fries and a refreshing drink, it was absolute perfection.
My daughter went with the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich, which comes with bacon, pepper jack cheese, tomato, and lettuce. She loved every bite, and the flavors worked so well together. The real showstopper? Her side of loaded tots—golden, crispy, and piled high with delicious toppings.
Birdcall knows how to do chicken right, and their attention to quality and flavor is clear in every bite. We’ll definitely be back soon!

I was trying to order on the self serve machine and it wouldn’t take my card. It wasn’t reading my chip, it wasn’t recognizing the tap or my swipe and the screen told me to go to the counter. I sat there swiping and whatever for at least 2 minutes before going to the counter. I ask for help from the only lady I can see. she then proceeds to talk to me like I dont know how to use a card reader and pretty much didn’t want to let me pay at the counter. I find this very rude and disrespectful I will not be giving this place my money.

Always nice to try different chicken sandwich concepts and this place didn’t disappoint. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It has that kick and heat to it and if you want something more spicy, it does have a spicier version. The chicken has a lot of flavor and it was fried perfectly but the portion wasn’t that big though. This place is pretty much self service, you order through the kiosks and you wait for your order to come out. They have a big screen that will tell you when your order is ready and where to pick it up (they have a shelf with numbers on it). The turnaround was pretty quick. They have a variety of drinks such as juices, sweet tea, and interesting selection of sodas like a lemongrass flavored one.

I recently visited Birdcall in Five Points to try their limited-time Spicy SzechYuan fried chicken sandwich, a collaboration with Chef Penelope Wong of Yuan Wonton. The sandwich features all-natural crispy chicken topped with spicy Szechuan chili oil, honey ginger coleslaw, and charred scallion kewpie mayo, all nestled in a soft brioche bun. The combination of flavors was exceptional—the heat from the chili oil balanced perfectly with the sweetness of the honey ginger coleslaw, and the charred scallion kewpie mayo added a rich, umami depth. Kudos to Birdcall and Chef Wong for crafting such a memorable sandwich. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

We loved Birdcall when we lived in town, so we had to visit while we were back for a conference. The vegetarian option has changed – it was tofu, now it’s a “Meati” chick’n patty. Not as good as the tofu, but still delicious. Get the southern sandwich- can’t go wrong with pimento cheese and slaw! You order at kiosks, which lets you customize your entire meal. They even have cocktails and beer they can be added to combo meals. There’s a small indoor area with seating and outdoor seating wrapped around two sides of the building. Service was quick – the screen with the estimated time for your order is a nice touch.
