I was really excited to try the famous chicken sandwich, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The chicken was incredible, with excellent seasoning. The pickles and potatoes were also amazing, and the portion size was huge! The only thing I would mention is that the frying was a little too greasy, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience—I loved it.

Best food we ate in NYC the entire trip! We got the original and spicy Claude, the spicy was really HOT! So next time will just get the original. I would equate the heat to Nashville HOT.
Overall, they made our food in less than 10 minutes after ordering online, hot and fresh, wonderful packaging and the kids said it was amazing chicken and fries.
This is a MUST try in NYC. The claw easily twists off and the rest is deboned and easy to eat!

Decided to check this place out with coworkers for lunch since it was near the office. We walked by it cause we didn’t realize it was part of a food court. Ordered the Claude the Claw – Spicy Falcon that comes with a whole chicken foot with a side of crispy fries. The sandwich isn’t cheap but it was tasty. It’s quite spicy and can taste a hint of peppercorn in it. Also enjoyed that it was chicken thigh and not chicken breast. The waffle fries were seasoned well and remained crispy. I didn’t really finish eating the chicken feet but it did come with a card on how to eat it. This food court concept was interesting. You order from the kiosk and you get a text when the order is ready and the locker will open for you to pick up your food. There is a staff there in case you have any trouble. Limited seating to eat though.

A little confusing finding this place. It has no true restaurant and no place to go inside even. You have to go to a kiosk on the right to order from Birdbox. You can order from multiple other restaurants here as well. Order and pay for your food and then wait for it to come out to you. I waited about 10 to 15 minutes to have my food brought out to me. There are a few tables outside, but they were filled, so I took my food up to Times Square where there are plenty of tables.
As for the food, I ordered the spicy Claude with fries. It was $25 with no drink or tip. It’s NYC, so I’m getting use to these prices. The fries were seasoned perfectly and very crisp. I enjoyed them. The chicken wasn’t as spicy as I’d hoped, but it was super tender. The flavor was good, but not my favorite. That has more to do with my personal taste than quality of the sandwich.
Overall this was a very good chicken sandwich and I’d happily eat another. For $25 though I might choose somewhere else.

REALLY GREAT spicy chicken sandwich, the chicken is delicious and their sauces are absolutely perfect. The Honey Marmite sauce is a MUST. We ordered all the chicken spicy and it was delicious, not too hot but has a good kick to it. Would definitely come back, we got the food and walked to a park and ate as it’s not a sit down restaurant

Hands down the best chicken sandwich I’ve tried in my life. Not even joking. We obviously went to see what all the hype was about and being somewhat of foodies, our expectations had something to compare to. Well this blew everything out of the water BY FAR and every bite was perfect. That curry combo and deep fried piece of chicken was amazing. 10/10. Came back multiple times and will be back for more!

The Claude chicken sandwich is truly one-of-a-kind. The touch of a chicken foot hanging behind the sandwich adds an element of culinary creativity. As for the sandwich itself, it’s absolutely delicious! The chicken is crispy, juicy, and bursting with flavor, while the sauce is a perfect complement. It’s an outstanding chicken sandwich that stands out..
However, there are a couple of drawbacks. At around $20 with tax, it’s definitely on the pricey side. Additionally, the lack of seating is a downside since it’s a takeout counter. Having some seating options would be a great improvement, allowing customers to enjoy the sandwich fresh and hot.

Solid spicy chicken sandwich. Great flavors and ingredients. The sandwich it self will run you $17 with taxes included. It’s pretty big but pricey. I waited 10 minutes to order and another 20 min to get the food. This is strictly a take out place with outdoor seating. You will need to place your order on a kiosk. As per employee, this places closes down once they run out of chicken, so try your luck. Good to try once, not sure if I will come back.

The chicken sandwich at Bird Box was a pleasant surprise, though not quite what I had anticipated. It was notably larger than your average chicken sandwich, which was a plus. The chicken itself was well-prepared, and the overall taste was enjoyable. The fries were a great accompaniment, perfectly crispy and salted. I also appreciated the option of having a Mexican Coke to complete the meal. If you’re looking for a substantial chicken sandwich with tasty sides, Bird Box is worth a try. While it might not be the absolute best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, it’s definitely in my top 10.

If goodness and mercy were a chicken sandwich, it’s nickname would be Claude. This food is so delicious and I ate cold as I traveled back to Queens to enjoy it. I hope the next time I visit, there is actually a place to dine in and enjoy! I can’t wait to visit again. I’ve NEVER let a pickle stay on any sandwiches. I eat hot or cold, but you changed my mind and my pallet. Thank you to the guy who came down to assist me with ordering since I only had cash. The waiting area is unique and clean, and once the kitchen gets rolling, they have you in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I went on a Saturday night and waited for them to open.
