I was hungry last night. Hungry in that way that makes you a menace to everyone and everything around you. I needed something to eat fast and I didn’t wanna make it myself – thankfully for me Bird On The Run is a couple blocks away and available on DoorDash!
I made my order and I think it was here in maybe 25 minutes? Usually that quickness comes with some kind of downside like undercooked, chicken or soggy fries. None of that to be found here.
The sandwich was massive, one of those things that you pull out of the bag and your jaw drops at the spectacle of it. I wish that I could’ve taken a picture, but I was so hungry that I devoured it without a picture even crossing my mind. I want to stress how much food you get. Huge chicken sandwich and a really large container of very well-cooked, well-seasoned fries! I ended up giving the remaining half of my fries to my husband because I couldn’t finish them all.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. We’re living in an era where it’s hard to feel Like you got your moneys worth when you pay for food delivery, and I feel like I got my money’s worth and then some.

A very small area but has some sitting area outside. The worker was nice in explaining the menu and what was possible. We ordered the chicken tenders and made it a combo and added a mean margarita. The worker explained the reason for the name was because it was stronger than a usual frozen margarita. The chicken was good, the bag was greasy but the tenders were not. A level 2, extra hot was not spicy at all. The margarita was strong and good.

Went on a Saturday evening for dinner, and it was practically empty. I guess this is more of a takeaway place than a dine in place. You place your order at the cash register, and then when your food is ready, they bring it out to your table in a paper bag. You can choose to take it away or eat there. I got the deluxe chicken sandwich, which is sort of a breakfast sandwich with bacon and egg, and then a nice fried chicken patty. I also got the coleslaw on the side. The chicken was extremely tender, and the overall was very flavourful. It’s a good chicken sandwich, but it did not blow me away. The coleslaw had a little bit more mayonnaise than I like. Overall, a decent meal.

What’s makes this THE BEST chicken sandwich is that it is breaded more like a piece of fried chicken. Being able to determine your hotness level also makes it customizable and delicious. I did 3. I love hot. It made me sweat. Loved it.

Finally got a chance to stop here. Ordered nuggets, fish combo and a deluxe chicken sandwich to go. Got the level 1 oil and seasoning on the side. Turned the air fryer on when we got them home, mixed the seasoning and oil and added it to the sandwich, dropped both sandwiches in the air fryer for an extra crunch and the sandwiches were very, very good. Glad we had a chance to stop here to sample some items. No parking but found a spot around the corner on the street. Some seating available inside.

I thought the chicken sandwhich was mediocre in terms of flavor. I got a spicy level one but it wasnt as tasty as other chicken sandwiches I’ve had elsewhere. The chicken was nicely fried, no soggy areas, but a bit greasier than I would like. The waffles fries were on point – big and crispy.
Love the ease of ordering in the ipads and the indoor and outdoor seating.

I’m a huge fan of hot chicken and Bird on the Run is really good. Simple menu of crispy chicken tenders or a sandwich. The crispy waffle fries are yummy. The beignets were good but doughy- I’d pass on them next time.

My brother and I stopped in for a quick lunch today and I can say I was very, very pleased. Great chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. The sandwich was served on a great bun with some of the best fried chicken I’ve had. I got the spicy chicken, but I might need to try the extra hot one as well. It’s a quaint little place with not too many tables, but seemed quite nice for our late lunch. Service was pretty quick, but not so quick that it seemed like pre-made food! I totally recommend you stop byand try for yourself.

Man oh man this place was off the hook!!! I recently visited and I am not disappointed!!! I had the regular chicken sandwich combo and my son got the spice level number 3… they have an option from 0 to 4… the chicken was juicy and flavorful, the mayo was delicious and the bun was everything!! So good.. and their fries, are waffle fries that are delicious and crispy.. their nuggets were amazing… best chicken sandwich I ever had! I live super close and I’m so happy it’s right around the corner. Will be back and I highly recommend.

They have the BEST fish sandwiches, I know everyone usually gets the chicken sandwiches, but during lent they have cat fish sandwiches, and they are so delicious, I tell everyone to got there for their fish sandwiches!
