Great Amish Restaurant we enjoyed so much even though our dinner show had to be cancelled due to icy sleet and rain storm.
We still went early to at least enjoy the food of the buffet which was delicious before the storm hit. Had a great server Juan and he was very kind to us. Service was friendly and all the food fresh. Dessert was equally delicious and we enjoyed. Highly recommend. 5 Stars!!

Came late on a Saturday night and was able to be seated at the bar without a reservation. The bar area was comfortable and our sever was incredibly nice and very on top of things. I ordered the crab cakes with a side of green beans and mashed potatoes. Delicious and comforting food, and at an extremely reasonable price as well. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable as well. Would definitely come back!

The buffet food was great however we had an issue with them trying to seat us near a stairwell exit door ( how odd as we are not trash) that would put my Mother in-law (who flew in from Guatemala to go on vacation with us)in the aisle and in the direct path of anyone walking past to get to their table as well as all entering and exiting the area. I asked the young man who tried to place us there that this was unacceptable but he seemed to have dozens of excuses (none of them good) as to why he couldn’t seat us at several empty booth and tables (some table were reserved for show goers but not all). Why am I treated like a second class citizen to the show goers as our money is green too just like there’s. After walking back up to station area passing at least close to a dozen tables and booths that were available the woman hostess there seems to not mind to provide us with a booth as we waited shortly but then were seated.
Our waitress came by shortly and she was great. So they saved our evening thanks to their comprehension that our first placement was offensive unlike the young man who could care less where he “dumped” us and have a sorry “song and dance” that made us feel unwanted.
Food was excellent and what a great selection. Waitress was friendly and helpful as she smiled a lot. Place seemed clean and we enjoyed our meals.
If not for the first ridiculous seating attempt I would have given 5 stars.
Maybe train workers who deal closely with the customers to practice empathy in the future.

The struggle is real when you’re in recovery. Work smarter, not harder BiH. Focus on your strengths. I observed long time customers, like us, ordering from the menu. EXCELLENT IDEA, however, we will not return to take advantage of this option. Management take note: focus on authentic, home made food & excellent service. Period. Cash in the ice cream machine, contract a linen service, & cancel the canned/boxed food order. Trade UP & buy more quality whole food. Call in a motivational speaker. Your organization has been traumatized. Be contemplative, innovative, & unapologetic. Gather all staff @ closing. Invite them to fill their plates at the buffet & sit in the dining room. Whip up the adrenaline @ all-staff ‘meeting’ in the theater focused on moving forward.
PERSPECTIVE is key!!! Customers can’t see or taste or appreciate paying for ‘what it was’.
Our service was excellent, however, our waitress told us to ‘dig deep’ because the hot food is at the bottom?! She was desperately overcompensating. She was overly friendly w my companion. The waitress behind us was also very gracious, yet bemoaning about failure of banquets & catering& hardships on staff … and celebrating her WAITRESS of the YEAR achievement!? I saw one manager in over an hour. She (white, thin, young) didn’t leave the ‘carving station’. One visual pass over the buffet & back to wherever. Not one gratuitous word or smile to a teammate or customer. Btw the ‘carving station’ had a skillet of bbq & a bowl of meatballs.
It was uncomfortably humid. I know the hvac is new & I know seniors like it warm, but dang!!! The home made apple pie crust was literally warm dough. The soft serve was soup by the time it got to the table. Where’s the Artisan Ice Cream advertised? I make my chili at home w Manwich & add brown sugar, yet BiH chili took SWEET to an alarming level.
Food safety: I never saw a thermometer. Buffet serving spoons never switched out for clean utensils. If there is hand sanitizer I missed it.
I know you’re used to seniors/families coming in for instant mashed potatoes, comfort entrees, & dessert selections … maybe hype an abbreviated, ‘feature’ buffet. Keep a soup/salad bar as an add on option – it allows staff to prepare & present a quality entree while customers are immediately self-serving.
It IS what it IS. It is NOT ‘before’, it’s now. Baby steps. There’s a well established buffet across town. Be the COUNTRY KITCHEN, not the place that takes busses & has an ice cream machine. Step it up or get sat down.

I loved this place! I came in a big group and the service was just outstanding! We had the sweetest and most helpful waiter and everyone enjoyed themselves. All of my friends enjoyed their delicious food! But I am gluten free and there were only about 4 gf options in the entire buffet 🙁 so seeing as I am also lactose intolerant I ended up paying over $20 for just a scoop of potatoes. So if you are gf it may not be the place for you. Other then my food reactions everything else was great! And once again such incredible service

Longtime guest. Where is Darryl??? He had standards. The managers were unable to come to the table. They must be busy attending to the lack of guests. I had several complaints first would be the food was dried out, burnt up, flavorless on the buffet. Second was the menu is from the 90s. No selection. Last no manager could come to the table. I was the about 90 mins we asked when we first ate soup and salad. Was told they couldn’t find a manager. What are the managing? Poor food? No guests? What could be hard for a restaurant that’s empty? Sounds like management is falling apart with no Darryl. He would’ve been at our table. He would have been walking around. In 90 mins I saw no manager.
No guests, apparent why. Not a picture of the old restaurant, why rebuild to date 80-90s decor. They should have updated the inside. Its dated. Its boring. Old fashion not in a good way. Nothing fun. I gave them 3 tries since they reopened. I will not return.

The food was great. Hot and tasty. Had some unique items. Fresh.
The service was prompt. The music was boring. The credit card fee is whack. The atmosphere was empty. Lacked energy and people.

We were excited to visit after the reopening, but the experience was disappointing. Much of the food looked like it had been sitting out for hours, the salad bar wasn’t fresh, and the desserts tasted old. For $25.99 (as of 2/5/26), the buffet didn’t feel worth the price. The staff at the food stations weren’t very friendly, though our waitress, Linda, was wonderful and the facility itself was clean. I hope they can bring back the fresh, Amish-style cooking they were once known for.

Me and my family stayed the weekend at the Inn and wanted to give the restaurant a try. Maybe because I’m from out of state and my expectations were based on buffets where I live. I was extremely underwhelmed. I can only speak on the buffet and not the food items you can order on the menu. It was made to seem that the selection of food was huge. I felt it wasn’t. There were a few main sides and some meat/ fish choices along with a small salad buffet and soup options. The same sets of sides were offered on both sides of the buffet and in my opinion tried to make it seem like more food options than there actually were. Food was average but definitely under seasoned. The staff was friendly and attentive. All in all I wouldn’t plan your trip around visiting this restaurant but works in a pinch if you needed a dinner option last minute.

We experienced a short wait time, but the overall meal quality justified it. The food was absolutely delicious, and the desserts were equally satisfying. Our waitress was a major highlight, providing nice and helpful service. This was our first time dining here since the re-opening. We were so impressed that we returned the following day to purchase gifts and their whoopie pies. We plan to return in the future.
