We went here for a fancy date and it was amazing. This restaurant is small with only 8 tables so it had an intimate feeling. The atmosphere had soft dim lighting which made it feel romantic and fancy. We ordered an appetizer, entreé, and dessert. We spent 1.5 hours here total. The food was delicious. I spent $CA106 before tip. For an appetizer we shared the single charcuterie board which was the perfect size for a two to share. It was my favorite dish of the night. It had so many complimentary and different flavors and so many different foods on it. I was very happy with it. I rate it a 10/10 and my partner rated it an 8/10. For an entrée I got the slow cooked lamb and my partner got the mussels aglio e olio. We both really enjoyed ours. I give mine a 9/10 and my partner gave hers a 10/10. The lamb was reminiscent of how soft beef gets when stewed. The sauce and vegetables that came with it were so flavorful and a perfect accompaniment to the lamb. The mussels aglio e olio was a little spicy and came with lots of mussels. The pasta was flavorful on its own with the light sauce. For dessert we ordered the house made chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. The dessert came with 3 scoops and tasted homemade. The vanilla tasted different than store bought and I imagine the flavor is from actual vanilla beans. I though the ice cream was okay. I liked that it was homemade but I found it was just an average ice cream. I gave it a 5/10 but my partner liked it and gave it an 8/10. The service was average-good. It was above average but wasn’t mind blowing. The server was nice and chit chatted with us a little about each thing we ordered. I did notice that the bigger group of people eating across the restaurant appeared to have great service and they seemed to really enjoy it. So I think the service here is good. Because of the small nature of the restaurant it did get loud and I found myself having to lean forward to hear my partner speaking. Something we didn’t partake in was the very large selection of alcohol. Half of the menu consisted of cocktails, mixed drinks, beers, and wines. The variety was impressive and it seems to be something they are known for. They had unique and unusual ingredient combinations that I imagine would be fun to try if one is interested in trying new mixed drinks. The bathroom is outside the restaurant and all the way down the hallway in the same building. I would definitely come here again. I loved the food, fanciness, atmosphere, and price. I would definitely recommend this for a date night.

Excellent value! Fresh ingredients!

The wild mushroom gnocchi was packed with flavour!!! The grilled chicken sandwich was very tasty and the chicken was juicy and not dry at all!

Restaurant is small so it is understandable that service can be a bit slow when it gets busy.

Fav in cornwall. Went during happy hour between lunch and dinner. Minestrone, mussels, cheese & cured meat charcuterie board was fantastic. Suuuuper delicious and beautifully presented. Will def go again and again:))

Parking was a bit tricky with google maps, so I suggest not following Google, as it will take u round and round. We ended up parking at a close by retail building and walking a little.

Easily the best food I’ve had in Cornwall. Great prices, too. They’ve done a lovely job warming up the space. Service was friendly but bizarre. Example: I ordered lamb and received beef. Not a big deal; mistakes happen. But when I told the server, she looked at me like I was from outer space and just scurried away. Will definitely come back with colleagues the next time I come through town.

We went in November so the patio is closed, and inside is small, very noisy (echo-y), and dark. I had to use my phone flashlight to read the menu. But the food!!! Delicious! Service was great, wine selection good. The portions are huge…we got another lunch and dinner for two out it. Will definitely go back, and we highly recommend it. Make a reservation!

Absolutely delicious food. Service was great. Big menu with a lot of options and plenty of wine selections. They also have wine recommendations depending on what food you decide on.

All tables were reserved. Nicely decorated and good atmosphere however there were two loud groups (one of 4 and one of 6) that made it hard for us to hear each other. We were seated at a table by the window but with two vents blowing the AC directly next to us it was cold. At one point my hair was even blowing around. Service was excellent

Just an Opinion
The menu is limited but almost everything we tried was excellent. The oysters and brie wheel were a lovely way to start, along with a pitcher of sangria. The branzino was tender and on its own bland, but eaten with the sauces on the side was delicious. The Chicken Supreme was also very good, though the risotto that came with it was a little too al dente. The service was great with the exception of our waitress forgetting to bring our wine, even after double checking with us that we still wanted it. Also, they appear to be anxious about getting you out of the restaurant as minutes after being seated we were told we had to be out in an hour and a half. I am not a fan of production line service. The ambiance leaves a much to be desired. It’s a small place and very noisy as dishes, pots and pans can be heard clanging in the background while patrons and wait staff speak louder and louder in order to compete with the sound coming out of the kitchen. If you’re looking for romance, this may not be the place for you but if you don’t mind the noise, a very good restaurant overall.

I wish I took a picture of the food. Had the Chicken soup and zucchini salad with shrimp. Absolutely inspiring! The place was so CLEAN! They even sanitized the seat of the booth! Met chef Carson, he mentioned he moved the restaurant from accross town, then under a different concept. I didn’t partake in cocktails, but they had quite the selection. ‘Gold’ silverware with clean new dishes. Service was awesome.
