Birchwood is a beautiful lush garden home to our Plant Nursery, workshop and quaint Beer Garden. We carry a wide variety of succulents, strings, house plants and garden plants not found in other stores in our area. We also offer Birch Swag! Come in for a visit, stroll around and stop for an ice cold beer on your way out!

Birchwood doesn’t deserve a review short of 5 stars. From my very first contact with Birchwood, everything has run perfectly. Unfortunately, my husband and I are both unable to drink beer. However, Birchwood is the PERFECT place to take photos, buy plants, and relax at. Everything about Birchwood is beautiful and magical. They have multiple tree swings, beautiful arches, and an adorable bridge. I am so thankful that Lauren was able to host our wedding. I literally couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. If you love plants, flowers, and gardens… This is the place to be whether you’re having a beer, lunch, browsing, or just wanting some gorgeous photos. It is definitely the hidden gem of Nipomo. We will definitely be returning even if it’s just to say hi to Lauren and buy a succulent… By the way, their prices are amazing. My dad and sisters had to buy Birchwood gear and plants. They couldn’t resist.

This place is stunning. I went there for an antique market and was blown away at how gorgeous the grounds are. Its a great place to find unique garden items or gifts. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Everything was amazing and Lauren did a great job making sure that everything went well beforehand and on the day of our wedding! The food was especially great, but everything else was fantastic, too, especially how considerately we were treated in terms of timing!
We want to emphasize how happy and satisfied we were from initially contacting Birchwood and speaking with Lauren, how amazing it was to work with someone so talented, in a place so beautiful, where everything was flexible and happened how we wanted it.

Birchwood is a great spot to hang with family or friends. There are many separate areas with tables and heaters. The beer options at the bar are great and fairly priced. The views are peaceful and the property is very well maintained. They host events, food trucks, and pop up vendors regularly. We were there and the guests very supportive. Can’t wait to go back!
