Our waitress was a sweetheart but the food was terrible for most of it.

The chips and cheese: $9 the cheese is what I know as movie theater cheese. It’s not really meant for dipping chips.

The salad bar: $8 it was fine but the ranch tasted like a light ranch.

The wings: $10 my son loved them. We got the buffalo. I didnt like them , had a more sweet taste than buffalo wings

The corn dog meal: $10 very huge for what they said would be a kids meal.

The chicken strips: $9 also very huge and came with six large strips. Was not a fan of the chips.

The new York strip steak: $20( on sale) was very fatty and no seasoning. Was under cooked what husband asked for. Was on special and not a good cut of meat.

The sirloin: $27 no seasoning. 1st one Was way over cooked and super dry. I asked for a new one. 2nd one was also over cooked but not as much and a little juicer.

The bake potatoes: were delicious

The beans: were delicious

I know they were short staffed but i had to ask for refills. It was not really busy until half way through our meal.

Would not recommend for the price.

We were looking for another option near the Walker area and decided to check out this place. They have prime rib on Saturdays and I was leery about trying it because it was a little pricey, but was pleasantly surprised by the meal. What makes a good prime rib is subjective, but I am looking for enough flavor that I can enjoy it without needing au jus, a good center portion that does not have gristle, and a decent ratio of the meat vs fatty outer layer. I went with the soup and baked potato. The vegetable was carrots, which are not my usual choice, but they were cooked well and had some type of slight sweet glaze to them. I am curious as to what else they excel or fall short on, but with my prime rib experience, I will visit them again when I am back in the area. The waitress we had was nice and very helpful with some requests we had made.

Great homemade onion rings that are hand dipped and hand-pattied burgers. The walleye sandwich was well portioned but a tiche under done. The service was really slow as they were probably understaffed for the day, but Linda was friendly. We’d go back again for sure if in the area.

Food is always amazing. They were extremely busy and under staffed, which happens this time of year, but were very friendly and attentive as possible.. we will continue to come here as it is a wonderful place and atmosphere…

We’ve always liked the atmosphere in there when stopping but would never recommend the hamburgers. Each Burger basket at the table had the same thoughts that the meat seemed to be very very old and covered up with a ton of spices. Nobody finished their burger. Later on when having small talk with another friend, they mentioned that they were up there a couple weeks ago and experienced the same type of Burger. Management and ownership should highly consider a different line of burgers.

We enjoyed our afternoon meal of burgers, onion rings and wraps. I had a “smaller appetite” burger with all the fixings to make it like a Jr Cowboy burger. It was excellent and easier for me to eat. Maybe they should make a smaller one and call it the cowgirl burger! My dad couldn’t finish the a Cowboy burger and my mom loved the chicken wrap. Their yummy onion rings are made fresh. I will be back.

We just tasted the Chef’s “potato gnocchi soup” today and were blown away by how delicious it was.

He had just made it today, what a treat.
Thank you Chef! ‍
