Great bar, with very good food and even a late night menu that’s great. The staff are great and friendly, really a wonderful spot in the Northwoods. They have live music on Sundays I believe and right on the lake. You’re missing out if you don’t stop by the Birchwood.

If you’re looking for a quiet place on a Sunday to eat, this is your place! We came around 11:30 and got a seat right away. The waitress was friendly and took care of us quickly. I ordered “The One That Got Away” burger with gyro meat on top and tzatziki sauce. It was really good! Their Onion rings are big and crispy and also really good!. My mother-in-law got a BLT and said it was good and their fries were really good. I highly recommend!
