I loved everything about Binondo! Excellent service, great ambience, and one of the best Filipino comfort food in NYC! The lumpia was perfectly crispy outside but not at all dry on the inside. Very flavorful beef kaldereta and sinigang soup. And my fave would be the sisig – so tasty and with the perfect kick of spice. Absolutely delicious. I also loved the complimentary fried dried anchovies and peanuts. Definitely worth a visit when you are in Chinatown.
Will be back for sure.

so happy that there is finally a filipino restaurant in chinatown. the menu had many classic dishes that i would find at woodside. the meal started with a complimentary soup, which was tasty and paired well with the peanuts and dried fish that were provided for the table. our menu highlights included: chicken adobo, crispy string beans, pork sisig, and ginataang kalabasa. we were also celebrating a birthday and we brought our own cake but they provided one of those fun sparkler candles! definitely a good place to celebrate an occasion.

Everything was delicious omg. Every vegetable was cooked perfectly (amazing)!!! And each dish tasted unique and was seasoned well (at other restaurants, all dishes can kinda taste the same.) My family loved the sisig (not pictured) and the huge halo halo of course (all the toppings were perfect.) The char on the vegetables in the kare kare was chefs kiss. Thank you Kabisera for your food at BINONDO !!! <3 I can't wait to go back and bring more people.

Had a wonderful time here right after our quick marriage ceremony nearby. The food was incredible, beautifully presented, and lovely service. The homemade bagoong was unforgettable; I still cannot believe how delicious it was. The pork humbanado was melt in your mouth tender with just the right level of sweetness, and the pinakbet vegetables were cooked perfectly with a delicate flavor.

The star of the meal was the Krispy Kare Kare. The sauce had an ideal consistency, the peanuts arranged around it almost like a little beach, and the plating was a true showstopper.

I love seeing how Filipino cuisine continues to evolve and reach new heights, and Binondo is definitely part of that exciting growth. It is a bit on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it, especially for a special occasion.

Four of my friends and colleagues in the Culinary industry had an awesome dinner here. We ordered family-style. We had the Lumpiang Shanghai and I loved that it had Chinese chives and cilantro (I used to calll it Kinchay as a kid)…how my mother used to make them in the Philippines! The chef/owner Augee gave us a complimentary egg drop soup, a perfect start, especially it was frigid winter evening. We decided to get the Pancit Negra (I thought it would be salty because of the squid ink but no, it was nicely savory!), Pinakbet (reminded me of how my Ilocana aunt made diningding…and it had anchovies!! Loved that!), Pork Sisig (a must have…amazing!), and another must have is the Crispy Pork Shank…and they serve it with spiced vinegar..loved that. Oh and of course, we all had white rice and garlic rice, lol . We also had the Quiapo cocktail which had a really nice bright Kalamansi infusion. I also had an IPA, I hope they add a couple of Filipino beers on their list. For dessert, the Guyabano ice cream was a perfect ending. Oh and their biko with mango…aaaand it came with the Latik!!! The latik made me so happy!! It was a great night! Kudos to the chefs!! A++++! Salamat!!

Chef Augee cooked me and my husband an amazing meal. Everything was perfect, from the flavors and temperatures to the kind and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. They took the time to explain each dish to us, which made the experience even more special.

Everything we ate was delicious from appetizers to the entrees and even the desert, but if I had to recommend just one dish, it would absolutely be the Paksiw sa Gata. Chef Augee explained her unique way of preparing it (a style and combination of flavors she created herself) and it was outstanding!!!

10,000 out of 10. Thank you, Augee and Joey ❤️

We recently had dinner at Binondo in NYC Chinatown, and it turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. I noted on our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, but I didn’t expect anything special — I just wanted a good meal. Instead, we were treated to an evening that felt genuinely heartfelt from start to finish.

We arrived around 5:45pm, and the restaurant was still quiet, with only a few guests seated. The uncle who greeted us was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, setting the tone for the entire evening. As dinner service went on, the restaurant quickly filled up — by 7pm it was bustling and nearly at capacity, which speaks volumes about how beloved this place is.

For drinks, we ordered the sago’t gulaman and the kalamansi juice, both refreshing and delicious. Before our entrees even arrived, we were served complimentary roasted peanuts and anchovies, along with a comforting soup that immediately took us back to classic Filipino home cooking.

For dinner, we ordered the Chicken Tinola, Pork Sisig, and Pancit Negra (plus added lechon kawali on top). Every dish was fantastic, each in its own way:

⭐ Chicken Tinola — 10/10

This was easily one of the best versions of tinola we’ve ever had. Instead of the usual bone-in chicken, theirs is deboned, rolled, and deep-fried — a technique known as roulade, which gives it a beautiful texture and presentation. At the table, uncle poured the hot, aromatic broth over the roulade, and the result was absolutely divine. Light, flavorful, comforting — a perfect dish.

⭐ Pork Sisig — 9/10

The sisig was served sizzling, and uncle finished it table-side, pouring the sauce and mixing everything together right in front of us. It had great flavor and richness, though we wished it had a touch more citrus — a squeeze of calamansi would have brightened it up to a full 10/10. Still very delicious, and a must-try.

⭐ Pancit Negra — 10/10

Outstanding. The noodles had that unmistakable wok hei flavor, perfectly cooked with just the right amount of chew, and seasoned beautifully. We added lechon kawali on top, which was good, but honestly the pancit negra stands strong on its own. One of our favorites of the night.

For dessert, we tried the Turon Special and the Ube Tikoy with ice cream (from their seasonal menu). Both were fantastic, but the tikoy in particular stole the show — crispy, chewy, warm, cold — all the good contrasts in one plate. We also ordered a hot Barako coffee with dessert — dark, rich, and bold. It was the perfect way to cut through the sweetness of the turon and tikoy, and such a comforting finish to the meal.

And then… the surprise.
Remember how I mentioned it was a birthday dinner? The staff went all out and rolled out a full celebration — complete with an EDM version of “Happy Birthday” blasting through the speakers, a sparkler, and the entire restaurant singing along. The joy, the energy, the laughter… it was impossible not to smile. My wife was beaming, and honestly, so was everyone else.

It wasn’t just dinner — it was an experience, and one we’ll never forget.

If you’re in NYC and want heartfelt service, amazing food, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like family, Binondo is absolutely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a fantastic dinner for our group of 7. Thank you so much to Chef Augee and team for the delicious food, drinks, and hospitality. A truly a wonderful addition to Chinatown. You expertly balanced the traditional flavors we love as a Filipino American family and you brought a newness to dishes that delighted even my Mom and my very discerning Tita’s. Our favorites were the Pancit Negra, Crispy Pork Kare Kare and the Special Halo Halo. There was not one complaint from our group. The joy and laughter from our table was only matched by our deafening silence when we were all stuffing our faces with your incredible food – sarap! We left with happy bellies and can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu.

This is not your typical Filipino food — they definitely put some twists into their dishes. We tried four items from the menu: Beef Kare-Kare, Lumpiang Shanghai, Pork Sisig, and Beef Ampalaya. The highlights for us were the Lumpiang Shanghai and the Beef Ampalaya, both of which we enjoyed.

On the other hand, the Kare-Kare didn’t quite hit the spot; it was on the dry side, not the usual soupy style we expected, and it was lacking vegetables. While the presentation was nice, the overall quality wasn’t there. As for the Sisig, it had more onions than meat, which threw off the balance.

That said, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the dining experience more enjoyable. I can’t speak for the rest of the menu since these were the only dishes we tried, but based on our experience, it was a bit of a mixed bag.
