We had such a great dinner tonight! Our reservation was for 8:30, but we got there a little early and they were so accommodating—they went ahead and seated us right away. Our waitress was super friendly, attentive, and happy to answer all our questions. Drinks never went empty, the food came out hot, and our wait times were minimal. Service was absolutely spot on!
Everything we ordered was delicious—cornbread, crab cake, lamb chops, and the chicken—all cooked perfectly. The carrots, mashed potatoes, and corn were full of flavor and tasted fresh.
Prices were very fair for the quality of food. You can truly taste the difference when meals are made from scratch instead of being prepackaged like at a chain restaurant. The portions were generous, and the whole place was so clean and comfortable.
The only “complaint” we had was being too full to try dessert! Next time for sure! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere.

If you’ve ever had the chance to meet the owner, you can tell he takes great pride in his business! This is our third time here, and the food is always phenomenal. The staff is consistently pleasant— Sara has been our server twice and she’s so sweet. Whether you’re coming for a casual meal or a special occasion, this restaurant never disappoints. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this restaurant is something special. Chef Brett has created an atmosphere that perfectly balances elegance, warmth, and attention to detail. The space feels refined without being pretentious, and every element—from the ambiance to the presentation—reflects pride in his craft.
Our server, Katie, truly elevated the experience. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly timed, offering helpful recommendations and making the evening feel relaxed yet polished.
We started with the meat and cheese appetizer, which was beautifully presented and full of flavor—an excellent way to begin the meal. For our entrées, we enjoyed the Filet and the Pork Chop, both cooked to perfection. The filet was tender and flavorful, while the pork chop was juicy, well-seasoned, and expertly prepared.
To finish the evening, we shared the Baked Alaska, which was the perfect finale—impressive, delicious, and executed flawlessly.
It’s clear that Chef Brett cares deeply about quality, and that commitment carries through the entire staff. Between the outstanding food, the memorable dessert, and Katie’s exceptional service, this was a dining experience we would gladly recommend to anyone looking for a top-tier restaurant.

Top notch food and atmosphere! Binninger-Schwartz fills a huge hole in the local offerings – in a land of overpriced chains, BS stands head and shoulders above the rest. We used to drive 1.5 hours to Nashville for restaurants like this.
All the food we’ve tried over 3 visits is quality and features robust flavors. It is obvious no corners are cut and real skill has gone into every dish. Brett (owner/operator) came around twice this visit to check in and ask how we were doing.
BS isn’t super close to me but we will absolutely return (often!) as this has quickly become our favorite dinner spot. Thankful to have such a great place outside Nashville!

We had a great experience. Had made reservations and got seated right away. The waitress was great, food was phenomenal. We had 2 of pork chop. One smashed burger. I had the 1/2 wedge salad chopped for a side and it was delicious. The guys liked the Mac and cheese they got. The chocolate tart was heavenly. The chef came out to the table. With the super cold weather we are having and all their glass windows it was kinda chilly in there, but that is not the restaurant fault. It has a great atmosphere. We enjoyed our whole experience from start to finish.

The food was phenomenal! Steaks exactly what I want from a steak place. The asparagus was literally in my top 3 I’ve ever had. Street corn side was delicious. I wouldn’t recommend the Mac and cheese it was a bit bland. And the baked potato was average. Our server may have been off her game this night. Nothing terrible just not a vibe. Also she forgot our dessert and we just decided to leave since it wasn’t on our check. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable for our anniversary dinner. Would definitely eat here again..

Everything tasted great. It’s on the pricier side, but it was nice to not have to drive to Murfreesboro or Nashville to eat at a more upscale restaurant. I had the ribeye and it was as good if not better than one from Longhorn. My wife really enjoyed the roasted half chicken. I highly recommend trying the creme brulee.

I took my husband for his birthday the food was great the appetizer were great the service was great they attended very well. The chef is a wonderful person he cook a special plate for my husband and he really love it great flavors! We had a great time we highly recommend it and would return again! The tiramisú coffee was a little to strong for me I wouldn’t recomend it.

We had such a great dinner at Benninger-Schwartz… my wife had a Ribeye with cowboy butter. It was beautifully cooked with a perfect char on the outside and MR inside. So tender and so flavorful. I had a salmon with garlic butter! It was tender and flaky and simply put delish! The kitchen is open and meticulously cleaned. Put this place on your short list of date night spots!

This is an absolute jewel in Manchester! My husband brought me for an early birthday date Night, and I can’t wait to go back. We live in Murfreesboro, and this is definitely worth the drive. The NY Strip is tender and seasoned to perfection. The street corn is everything you want street corn to be and more! The tallow french fries are divine and the creme brulee we ended with was the perfect texture and sweetness. Make a reservation ASAP ♡
