Jian Bing (or just Bing for short) is a savory crepe that is regarded as China’s most popular street food! It’s made by spreading batter over a piping-hot cast iron skillet. Then we crack a fresh egg, spread it around, and garnish with green onions, cilantro, and black sesame seeds. Then we flip it, brush it generously with our homemade Bing sauce and a bit of chili oil. We top it with cabbage, cucumber, Chinese pickles, a drizzle of Kewpie Mayo, and optional meat option. Then finally we top it with crispy wontons and pack it all together.

Today I tried new taste, Bing Bros at the Pearlridge Center. Chinese style crepe or burrito(?), it was really good. The wrapper has a bit chewy texture with egg and green onion, and you can choose 1 or 2 meat from cha siu, bacon, spam, ham or roasted chicken. There are lettuce, cucumber, chinese pickles, pork flakes, and chili oil (option) inside. They put their original sauce and kewpie mayo. I asked the oil aside, but this changed the flavor quite big! You can see they make yours in front of you. Fun, yummy, and very reasonable. I will go back to get another one soon!

Jian Bing, or “Bing” for short, is a savory Chinese street food. If you compare it to a burrito, instead of a tortilla, a crepe is folded and wrapped around the filling. Besides lettuce, cucumber, wonton chips, hoi sin sauce, and mayonnaise, you may select other fillings such as bacon, bbq pork (Cha siu), and ham. It’s really delicious! Look for the kiosk on the level between Longs and Consolidated Theater, next to Icings.

I saw the sign next to the BX and decide to try something new. It is very tasty and definitely different but familiar at the same time. Kinda the same with Vietnamese crepe but with china and Hawaii twist to it if you add spam and char su meat. Very satisfied and they also have macarons too for dessert. If you are looking for something new, definitely give this a try.

I ordered lemon grass bing bang, actually pretty good. A little pricey, but the food was good. It tasted pretty close like Vietnamese banh mi.

Kinda basic. The flavors are fine, but the textures conflict a bit. Would like the lettuce to be shredded so I don’t have to bite and pull it entirely out because it is hard to rip it separately from the wrap without spilling the contents. It was better when I stuffed it with the fried wonton chips to add a nice crunch but overall it’s okay. Not quite as filling and wish there was more sauce for taste xD;;

I stopped by to get a Chinese Jianbing today. It was fun watching the boss Beldon create this tasty and traditional creation. The thin crepe is filled and wrapped around a homemade tangy and slightly spicy sauce with char siu, crunchy cabbage, cucumbers and crispy won ton, all topped with more sauce and kewpie mayo. The outside of the crepe has fried egg… watch the video to see how it’s done.

I hardly eat at restaurants these days due to obvious reasons, so I’ve become a bit picky when I do decide to eat out. Let me say the price I paid for the amount of food I got was well worth it. The quality of the food itself is also top notch and is the closest thing there is to the original thing here in Hawaii. So overall it’s great place to find something to eat.

Very tasty street style food and good portion sizes. It is a little pricier, but they use good quality meats and don’t skimp. My favorite is the Three pigs Bing.

Starting with the customer service to providing a descriptive breakdown of the menu. It was a great experience. The Jian Bing was prepared to perfection. Along with the Tiger’s Blood drink . I originally ordered for myself and was going to share with my family of four because they ordered from another restaurant; however, when they tasted the OG Jian Bing with Char Siu and the Tiger’s Blood drink they knew I made the right choice and they didn’t. My youngest wanted his own Tiger’s Blood drink so I let him have mine. I would have gone back for more but we needed groceries lol. I definitely will be sharing my experiences with friends and my colleagues. Everything is fresh and made to order!!
